Re: SS DC Micro and 633/683

Good feedback. Looking into T22 now but I can get Micro cheaper. And the T22 only has one option to mount (no tracks) but seems 633/638 work well on it. Grig if I drill extra holes in my mast plate that will give me extra room to move back. I did this for my original GW's (I even called SS and they...

Re: SS DC Micro and 633/683

I rode Micro strapless with 633 and mast all the way back. It’s working good, you wish it was possible to move mast another inch back but it works good.
Stringy’s custom fuselage (one on top in attached picture) takes care of the issue having mast positioned forward

Re: Moses 2019

Distance between nearest bolts of wing and stabilizer 749 507mm 710 467mm 647 500mm so it tells me I shouldn’t need two separate fuselages Moses team , please consider releasing larger than 590 wing for 647 kitefoil fuselage, something 683s size or tad smaller. The wing can extend arrowshape forwar...

Re: Moses 91/633FW/450RS/710FS

On the 749 you had mast all the way back but 710 has mast only 13mm forward (0.5”), so I’d say 1.5” move you made initially was too aggressive. Also the stabilizer sits closer to the mast so it will also eat away from those 13mm - basically consider both wing and stabilizer being moved closer to th...

Re: Moses 2019

Grig thanks for review. I am curious if the 633/683 will have issues on SS DC micro? I have one ordered and I hear the track is further forward then my DC 42 regular. Yes the track is more forward on micro compared to any other 42” Dwarfcraft model. There’s plenty room to stand but certainly you’d ...

Re: Moses 2019

So I reported few days back that on the same board my 683s/710/450/105 needed stance 2" forward compared to 683s/749/483/91. I was lucky to get some winds today, rode by myself so here's what I did and what effect changes had: 0. to start with I put back 91cm mast for all 3 below trials. Not my pref...

Re: Moses 2019

I rode my 683s/710/450/91 on DC 42" with mast all the way back for only a hour first time ever. It felt good, but wind was dying so I came in. Been raining ever since:) I was riding in same foot position as 633 with same set up. My front foot is right behind third hole from front. I rode the 633 on...

Re: Moses 2019

They both have a slight lean and 105 should be mounted 7mm forward (measured by trailing edge of mast plate) to get the wing into exact same spot as 91. so that would suggest that the 450 actually adds more lift/ front foot pressure if you have to stand an extra 2" forward. Does that sound correct?...

Re: Moses 2019

Last Saturday I rode 683s/710/450/105 and I had to move my feet forward by 2” compared to 683s/749/483/91. I only wonder which one of the three changes caused it (or more than one) and I’ll know in 10 days the latest unless we get good local winds before then. I was wondering about the two masts. T...
