Re: Moses 2019

Nice, I too have upgraded my Moses 633/483/91 with the Stringy fuselage mod and I find it to be a nicer balanced ride. This is on my strapless Kanaha Shapes board. Posting one Stingy's surf fuselage for sale in "like new" condition Where are you posting it? Price? $290 will get it shipped to anywhe...

Re: looking for a new Lightwind tubekite Help!

Slingshot Rally is my happy middle ground - I can lightwind foil on my 9m and I can boost on same kite with a twintip. If your happy with a Rally as a big kite for foiling, good for you, but you are absolutely on the money when you describe it as middle ground. Heavy and sluggish in the low end wit...

Re: Moses 2019

yeah seeing as how the moses mast has rake and the slighshot mast does not you really want the adapter to be moving the wings aft (like the stringy one) rather than moving the wings forward like the foilmount one. Either way if you get a stringy fuse the problem is solved by moving the mast further...

Re: looking for a new Lightwind tubekite Help!

Just assume you will mess up a transition or trip over hitting a marine life and will get kite into the drink I have a 9m Turbine and rode 5m Turbine with incredible looping powespike and I'm pretty much certain that's way over of what I even need on a foil. On the other hand SST doesn't deliver eno...

Re: Moses 2019

Rode 683s in marginal 10 knots wind under 10m Slingshot on 30m lines at South Haven past Saturday. Clocked 21MPH. Had great time but unlike my friend I gave up on 590 set for those conditions. He rode 590 under 10m SST on 27m lines. Both on Dwarfcraft Micro in regards to board size. Deeply thankful ...

Re: Drilling and tapping aluminum fuselage

I intend to get mine looking more like that. Its a bit blocky right now. I'm going to be shaving down the wing area so that the bottom of the wing is flush with the bottom of the fuselage, tapering both ends some more, and rounding the corners. Its a work in progress, but it will be functional at e...

Dear friend of mine made this. (I will post post-anodized pics when he gets it back) But yep. tap responsibly :) I intend to get mine looking more like that. Its a bit blocky right now. Re: Hydrofoiling: Why you need a short mast - Foil Fridays

I started with 90cm mast, then moved to 105cm, then added 71cm to the mix, tried 24"/28"/30"/36"/15" and 16" masts so far My opinion - long mast is the way to go. For large bodies of shallow water like OBX/SPI you want to have an additional, short mast. The 71cm (and anything shorter) felt a bit to...

Re: Hydrofoiling: Why you need a short mast - Foil Fridays

Here’s my current set - 105/91/80 I didn't know that Slingshot/ Moses did a 105cm carbon mast? I thought it was only 91cm / 101cm / 111cm ? Or was 105cm an old size which isn't available anymore? Original Slingshot Ghost Whisper with 545 (558) wing and 328 (330) stabilizer was marked as 42” and it’...
