Re: Low rise booties - looking for feedback.

Solite reef booties are just about the most comfortable things I’ve ever worn. You can mold them to your feet. The down side is my first pair didn’t last super long. The Velcro got week and I blew a hole in the toe. They claim to have fixed the Velcro this year and I’m hoping the toe issue was just ...

Re: Sunglasses & Kite - what to use?

Thanks for the great tips, definitely going to try the Oakley stuff. I've definitely had problems with water drops, and salt drying on them. I used to use cheap Knockaround glasses, but the polarizing finish kept delaminating, so I switched back to Oakleys. I probably lost 6 pairs with 6 different a...

Re: Core sensor 2 bar depower line wear and tear

Aren’t those lines covered with that plastic sheath?

I’ve got two sensors and had a pro that I lost and never noticed any additional wear on that spot.

Re: TT foot pad/binding bolt spacing

hey plummet. the standard is 6 inches, this works for most straps and for all wake style boots. Pre-2012 there were often 6.25 inch bindings, and other sizes but it has settled down to a standard of the wakeboard 6 inch (15.2cm). Shinn boards like the monk uses the "european standard" of 155mm (6.1...

Re: Flysurfer Radical6 vs Core Choice3

Choice is a freestyle oriented board, made for boots with pretty big rocker, Radical is more like all-rounder. If you need it to ride with straps I would suggest looking at Core's all-rounder Fusion, not Choice. It will be much lighter and faster. Now I have plenty of experience with Fusions 2 and ...

Re: Better kite compression bag? Hate the single strap

The Mystic compression bags have been doing the trick for me. 2 comfortable shoulder straps and the bags are much lighter and less bulky than the factory kite bags. There's an internal horizontal pocket at the top of the bag as well as an external vertical pocket for a bar on the side of the bags. ...

Re: Better kite compression bag? Hate the single strap

Thanks for the suggestions, a couple of decent options.

Why do these kite companies not have more picture of their products online or online purchasing?

I guess most people out there just use their kite bags?

Re: Better kite compression bag? Hate the single strap

I use a compression bag from Decathlon for flights. It s cheap and does its job. No straps to carry on the back though. https://www.decathlon.com/products/kite-surfing-kite-compression-bag-100?adept-product=kite-surfing-kite-compression-bag-100 Than I have a Prolimit Kite Session Bag as a bag pack ...

Re: Better kite compression bag? Hate the single strap

Have you seen any damage to your kites caused by compression bags? I ask because some users claimed they saw damage, but I would like to try them. Maybe the vacuumed air out bags were different and don’t seem in use anymore. I don't really pack them down all that tight. I mostly use them as smaller...
