Re: Wingfoilers versus Kitefoilers?

Wing foil surfing and now prone foil surfing has ruined my interest in kite foil surfing. Went out the other day with my kite and all I wanted to do is cut my lines when I was on the wave. I felt so limited. Nothing beats the feeling of foiling on a nice swell/wave free to choose your lines and angl...

Re: what are you workin on? kitefoil strapless freestyle progression

Really good strapless videos! For me. Straps are for flat water to enable all air style tricks. Strapless is all about the surf.

Re: Armstrong 311 for kitefoiling?

Are you an experienced surfer? If so you could make that 3-11 work for prone but it will be a longer learning curve. You could eventually end up happy with the one board quiver but a 3-11 is very small to learn to prone even if you are an experienced surfer. More volume and length for prone surf foi...

Re: Light wind Boosting

In my opinion, boosting (Foil or no foil) is all about speed, leverage (line tension) and of course, timing. I don’t think the smaller kite advantage (moves faster) makes up for the slower traveling speeds on the bigger foils. For me, it is race foil all day for boosting and ride the biggest kite yo...

Wings in the surf

Yesterday my buddy got caught inside at our local beach break and he popped his wing bladder. It was a 7M Gong; pumped reasonably stiff. The waves were not that big but enough to jackknife (fold) the leading edge right at the leash connection point and boom! I haven’t taken taken it on the head yet ...

Re: Moses 633 vs Armstrong review

Thanks Texasrider for the review. How do the stabs compare in size? Untill now I rode Ketos 1200 wing and changed to the smallest satb available. It dramatically changed the behaviour of the foil make much tider turns and much more playfull. With a bigger stab (karver) the foil is much more stable....

Re: Moses 633 vs Armstrong review

there is a big difference riding a 100 mast and a 85cm mast in terms of reactivity ! This is very true and a great point, Frankieboy. So please disregard my comments about the 633 being stiffer. So not a perfect comparison. That said, I was able to ride the 1200 yesterday on the exact same set up a...

Moses 633 vs Armstrong review

Had a chance to test both of these set ups together yesterday unfortunately in flat water but may have helped with fewer variables. Nicely powered on a 9M kite. Moses 633 wing, 483 stab, 101 Mast, KS 37" Pocket Board Armstrong 800 wing, standard Stab (0' shim), TC60 fuse, 85 Mast, KS 37" Pocket Firs...

Re: Who's (still) riding fast foils?

I have standardized on Moses due to the interoperability. I own the following wings: 548, 558, 637, 645, and 683. Stabes- 325, 330, 420, 421, 483. Masts- 101 and 91cm. And I have ridden my friend’s 633. My point here is I know the Moses line up pretty well. My strapless surf set up is a KS 37 inch p...

Re: Moses 670/421 race wing review

Thanks for the pictures! Looks like the 421 stabilizer is compatible with the new Wing and fuse. Keep us posted.
