Re: moses 633 VS 590

I've spent a year + on the 633 & 590(strapped). ~180# 633 feels like a progression & easy-going strapless wave type setup w/ under-powered kite. 590 is capable of fairly slow speed after you learn the cut-off speed, way better for jumping. Also feels more agile/responsive. I am happiest riding it po...

Re: How to make a KF Box board compatible with 4 bolt hydrofoil?

https://www.windance.com/PowerPlate-Complete-w-Powerbo/41722/ is an example of an adapter not currently offered w/ kf-box (perhaps they'd make one?) considering added weight + cost, you may be better off just getting a starter foil board.. not to mention, is the current mounting location appropriate...

Re: small front wing

I find the drag a typical surf foil creates usually causes it to become overpowered more quickly than a smaller/faster wing; the opposite of the op observation. I swapped to the 633 for it's ability to overcome this a while back. Perhaps your just not comfortable w/ the speed yet? Slower surf foils ...

to me the stab (450) looks too big. I don't think there is a smaller stab available (at least surf fuselage compatible...).
I believe the smaller kite stabs are compatible w/ the surf fuse. I experimented a while back w/ the 330 & 420 on the older 749? surf fuse

Looks pretty nice for the price to me, for a surf/pump rig.

Re: Slingshot Phantasm Carbon foil launch - 2020

Slingshot has not released any info yet. The above PDF is not confirmed. Sorry, but stay tuned still for the correct info. I make no claim to the validity of that pdf, I just googled "Slingshot Phantasm" & shared the result. https://www.standupzone.com/forum/index.php/topic,35576.0/nowap.html

Re: new redesigned LF Solo vs SS Ghost for foiling

I tested a 10m Ghost over the weekend. It is probably better as a cross-over/dual purpose than a primary free-ride foiling kite. I prefer SST's (lighter bar pressure, drift, turning). I didn't have an opportunity to jump it. Overall it works, but I had a tough time finding something it did better th...

Re: Moses T38 or Groove skate Large for improver?

I haven't had an opportunity to try a groove, although I was quite tempted to buy one a year or so back. Ended up on a red t38 and happy with the selection.
Going smaller will never give you the forgiveness a bigger board does during touchdowns.
I feel that the foil/board combo is paired perfectly.

Re: Ring for RideEngine rope spreader bar

I have found the snap hook on a spare kite leash attached above the chicken loop works well to the handle the load/pull. Then the loop can be opened & attached at leisure.
