Re: Ring for RideEngine rope spreader bar

I have found the snap hook on a spare kite leash attached above the chicken loop works well to the handle the load/pull. Then the loop can be opened & attached at leisure.

Re: Moses 2019

re 590: I have read somewhere another needed to make modifications for the 483 on kite fuse, although I did not. imo, 330 felt too skatey, 483 was more stable & slightly better low end. currently happy on 590 w/ 420

Re: Advice needed for new foil board

Also ~85kg & pretty happy w/ the red T38 all 'round.
At this weight, I wouldn't consider the 3''6 dc a light-wind board(also have the standard model). Powered & instantly on foil is a different matter, inconsistent w/ my definition of light winds.

Re: used 14m apollo or 12m gong strutless for LW foiling?

I liked the apollo in smaller sizes for gusty conditions & boosting; not my pick for lw.
The strutless do fly in light winds, although I've found some to be on the gutless side for generating the required power in lw.

Re: Fuselage problem (water inside) !

I wondered what foil, searched your posts & thought this response in your other thread could be related It's the fuselage that is twisted, it occurs because the inserts are glued by hand. LF said it has no impact on performance and up to 1.5cm they consider it normal. Perhaps that crooked glued inse...

Re: Moses 2019

1st session on the 720, w/ the 749 & 483. 12 to 18 mph on 12m soul. Just first impression as I haven't spent much time on it, about an hour. Better low end vs the 590. The 590 can drop off foil abruptly ~8-9mph; while the 720 does drop, it's probably in the 5-6mph range. I only pushed it a little, i...

Re: Zeeko screws to secure rear stabilizer and fin keep loosening

Previously I had been taking everything apart after each session for easier transport in my car and giving everything a rinse and storing disassembled to avoid potential anodization (stainless screws/ aluminum fuselage). Since the stainless is not threaded into the aluminum fuselage, removal every ...

Re: 4m SST Taco job

I have a 5m sst which can suffer the same thing, also ~200#. I depower it 1/2 way rigged w/ an older bar & solves the issue. Line lengths uneven perhaps.

Re: Light Wind Hydrofoil technique

Bending your knees into a crouching waterstart position, so there's less mass to pull upright may also be helpful.

Re: Moses 2019

Bouncing around on the Moses site today & noticed the 590 is listed as compatible w/ the 710 sup fuselage. Is this true?

Edit: error on the site corrected. 590 is not compatible with 710.
