Re: Weird issue with a 6 month old bar

I realy like de duotone rebel. But i don't like the lines. Different people with kite repair knowledge say the same: It's because of the splice/sleeve technique. I had a bridle line snap at my 2nd session. It broke at the splice point. I was lucky it wasn't on the jump before (16m) btw: The ventum b...

Re: Kite Helmet

I like the Mystic Vandal helmet. It's comfortable and stays in place. Some research on helmets in watersport: Full research: https://www.researchgate.net/publicatio ... of_helmets Head and neck injuries sustained during water skiing and wakeboarding occur as a result of falls in water and collisions...

Re: Surfr vs Woo

My Woo 2.0 jumps about the same as the surfr. The woo most of the times a bit higher, but only by a small margin.

Re: Surfr app on Smartwatches

The screen goes on when I raise my arm and after a few seconds it goes dark again. I think the battery loss is around 25% in 1 hour, so long enough for my sessions. The results seem about the same as with the phone.

Re: Nitro / Orbit inflation pressure

Hey, that is something the old orbits also has. This helps with the orbit: more inflation pressure 9/10psi and the more barpressure setting.

Re: Surfr vs Woo

Surfr works perfect with my phone, but also my galaxy watch. Nice to only need a watch and have immideately have your jump height. Also de GPS and jump distance is nice to have.
Jumps seems accurate and about the same as a Woo.

Re: Cabrinha 03

Look at the release of Lorrenzo bar. Looks like ducktape or something? Looks like he made a change on his bar after that hard crash

Re: Kiteloop on cabrinha fx 2019 9m

I used it on the fastest wingtip setting and de bridle on depower. I would jump at least 5m to get a catch with 25 knots. Thanks! Which one is that, the freestyle / kiteloop or freeride setting on the bridle? It was the freeride setting. The kiteloop setting is also good. But I hated the freestyle ...
