I second that motion as well...
I use High and Low V on all different kites and there really aint any changes.

Re: Naish Torch 2017 Problems (No Power)

Good luck getting any anyway. I just tried to get a 14m Yellow to cover me under 18knots and they are not making any more until they release 2018 models. Sounds like they only did one production run and that's it if they run out of stock to bad. Im now waiting until August to complete my quiver :(

Re: Naish Torch 2017 Problems (No Power)

I personally "fixed the issue" by shortening the back lines by just a knot but making sure the front and 5th lines remain at equal length. I tried back to back the 2016 and 2017 Torches and did notice the 2017 to be slightly less powerful but not to the point that Octo describes it. We can't be com...

Re: Naish Torch 2017 Problems (No Power)

That would seem to me to be all the symptoms of stretched front lines (no low end, backstalling when the bar is pulled in). Are you flying it on the bar that it was intended to fly on or are you using a previous year/brand? Otherwise, I'm guessing my friend Tautologies will be along shortly and be ...

Re: Naish Torch 2017 Problems (No Power)

I must say me and a mate just purchased a set of Torches 12m and 10m and we have found the same as above. The 12m does not do anything untill is hits 18knots (tested on beach with wind meter) then it is ok to 20knots then jumps great on 25knots +. This is our first time on C kites so we just assumed...

Re: Park HD replacement for 2017: Torch / Pivot?

Hmmm... now you made me think that 11/8m combo is better for my weight... currently i have RPMs 11/7 and i can cover all winds You are a lot lighter then me so you might be right. 11/7 might be to far apart so 11/8 sounds better i think. Its hard to believe how big the wind range is on the Torch. S...

Re: Park HD replacement for 2017: Torch / Pivot?

so why not keep it in the line-up, and maybe making it a little more "wave-friendly" (well, sounds like a Pivot with better unhooking, and no pulleys, but why not). Wasn't that the park of 2014/2015? I liked my 2014 Parks a lot, was significantly better than 2013. But very happy with Pivots, howeve...

Re: Park HD replacement for 2017: Torch / Pivot?

Thanks. I have not tried to self launch or land with the Torch yet. I see to land you pull in a hand full of 5th line just like you would on the top front line of a 4 liner. Launching could be trickier then 4 line. It helps to relaunch in the water by pulling in the 5th line. Something i yet to expe...
