Re: Kiteboarding apps for Garmin watches

Hello, I got an instinct solar Garmin watch as a gift (never had one before) and don’t seem to be able to get a kite specific activity in the watch. The connect app does not have one and all the other ones seem to be for other models. Am I doing something wrong? I don’t seem to know how to use it yet

Re: Kitefoil, double skin - single skin Peak/FireFly?

I saw that Nasa has 3 lines, a partly depower form of kite, but its of course quite limited. If someone will build depower Nasa then it will be definitely best light wind kite (despite race double ul foils). I think this also (a 3 line depower kite, all single skin, without stiff or semi stiff batt...

Re: Kitefoil, double skin - single skin Peak/FireFly?

Hi a99; the Nasa is not a depower kite (it does not have a bar that you can trim the back lines in relation to the front ones to depower or ¨luff" the kite) (the bridle system in that kite doesn't work that way; it is a "fixed bridle" system), to my understanding, it would be similar to having a dep...

Re: Why a stabi, when wing foiling?

Fluidity, you wouldn’t want to make a wing like this for me (to fit my Moses masts) would you?

Re: Why a stabi, when wing foiling?

Yes, but the wing has to be forward of the mast, to give good dynamics and feel right. Do you use an S profile, or rely solely on the rider for stabilization? 8) Peter I think peters recommendations are both the key: the mast further back makes the drag of this mast stabilize the wing, the rear are...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

if you want to go sub 10 - 1500 cm2 wing instead longer lines give you much more fun. 1500 wings are also really pump-able which add another level of fun - powerless wave to wave. I now tend riding 1500 wing all the time /moses 790 instead 633/ - Its Peak kite size difference between them in power ...
