So Duotone, says hi y, what about the click bar? You can run that as a V single line flag out, I assume that is ok.

Re: Fishing kitesurfing ?

When I clicked on this I was going to say something like "what a ridiculous idea, what planet are you on"

I was wrong, I now want to catch fish too.

Re: 17m lightwind Kite + normal TT or 12m Kite + Door?

Door for sure.

I'm a few more pies than you and my lightwind setup is a Spleene Monster Door and a 17m Ozone Edge.

I get going in 10kts with them easy.

I've also managed the door and a 14m but it was hard work in sub 12kts.

You can get knocked out by a hard crash on the water too.

Re: Summer + autumn UK wetsuit for water 10-14 C

Sergei, A suit like flashbomb had full fleece inside Makes a huge difference. Front entry is actually better and more comfortable. Takes a few times to get the technique to put on and take off, but once you get it it's better than rear zip. You can wear an edge shirt under or over. Both ways work w...

Re: My first ever death loop!

To be honest I felt quite invigorated at how well the safety worked and how easy and natural it was to activate it when I needed to, had an awesome session after that! I like a nice successful release  I had a failed launch on Saturday, it was gusty and I was on my own, kite spun and shot up a...

Re: Summer + autumn UK wetsuit for water 10-14 C

I kite on the IOM year round and pretty much stick to a 5/3 steamer all the time. There was one single day last summer when I went out in shorts and an impact vest and it was magical  Thanks, Berdytello. Isle of man is probably very similar to West of Central Scotland! Is your 5/3 a front entr...
