I've been out in my boxer shorts before, turned up at my spot, good conditions, limited time, forgot shorts, no wetsuit.....wore my impact vest and boxers. Was liberating!

I've thought a lot recently about "risk" and taking risks. Having had a few close-ish calls kiting and more recently buying another motorbike. The risk question raises itself noticeably I think when you have children. My question to myself has always been... Do I owe it to them to wrap myself in cot...

I'd do it.

Current dependent, I'd want to stay close enough to the boat to swim back to it with or without gear from any direction.

I'm a big boi, I inflate my blades to 9psi (which is actually in range for them) but when I had an evo I used to ride at 8psi with little to no drama, I was jumping less back then though.
