Re: extend the low end; single skin, cloud, foil kite?

Regarding hot launch, the Peak 4 inflates instantly in light wind. You lay it out on the sand or rocks and its instantly ready. I hated trying to pre-inflate a Soul in light winds (no pre inflating a Peak 4). Peak 4 hot launches even in high winds (smaller kite for foiling) because it totally depowe...

Re: extend the low end; single skin, cloud, foil kite?

They float until the channels fill. If you don't have any line tension it will float. When I said they sink it's when I'm rolling up my lines for self rescue. I could probably empty the water and relaunch but it usually doesn't feel worth the hassle and I just swim in. I don't wear a PFD so treading...

Yes. Can I call you KKK for short? For travel pumps take up a ton of space and, btw, if the pump is damaged your trip might be ruined.

Re: extend the low end; single skin, cloud, foil kite?

I have extensive experience with Flysurfer Peak 4, Flysurfer Soul and several iterations of Clouds starting with the C2 and into the D's. I consider myself an advanced intermediate and foil exclusively now for 4 years. The answer is more about what you like to do. I love a kite that has exceptional ...

Re: Naples Florida access

Thanks. I love the clouds but the peaks are so much better, IMHO. Yes, if you put it in the water its a 50/50 for getting it up again. Btw, the Clouds, great kites, often flipped over the lines and became inoperable when they went in the water. That said, you literally have to try to put a Peak 4 in...

Re: Naples Florida access

Thank you. I'm challenged but I don't see Naples access points in any of these sites. What am I missing?

Naples Florida access

Hi. I'm heading to Naples next week and plan on bringing kites and a foil. I want to respect the local rules, written and unwritten. I'm experienced and like to immediately get far away from shore (not a show off). What's the deal with access? Any help is appreciated. I will have several Flysurfer P...

Re: Old BRM C2s

I loved the C2's. What size kites did you buy and what's your weight? There is no work around. The wind rage is limited (on the D's too) and you use them in their ideal range and it's awesome. Get over-powered and they can punish. if you have the BRM connection moving a knot closer to your body make...

Re: Small pocket board - looking for recommendation/advice

I have the Kanaha shapes 41, Groove Skate and the Newind suggested. Here are my 2 cents. The Kanaha shapes rides by far and away the best. It's super basic and awesomely light. It just locks in when up on foil. The process with Kanaha was easy. He had it in stock and shipped it. The Groove Skate too...

Boardriding Maui type release pins

Hi. Anyone know where I source these? I know I can buy the kit from Greg. I have several attachments and BRM bars. Love them. I just want a source for the stainless steel pins he uses for the release. I appreciate any help. Yes, I searched forever and there's too many pages. Thank you. BS
