Btw, I shared this thread with the staff at the local kite/windsurf shop and we all had a good laugh.
Nice! They read through all the pages just to please a customer? That is good customer service. Did you buy anything?

Re: Wingsurfing Right of Way

 i have no clue how this thread ...which is basically about nothing....is somehow already 7 pages Sometimes people answer without anything to add on topic. Sometimes people like me take the bait for that off topic discussion. This thread is an example of both to the extreme. But it is a free a...

Re: Wingsurfing - Intel - forum topic?

Are they not doing harness lines on the inflatables like they have on the rigid kitewing? That helped a ton and was kind of the last place I felt the need for a waist harness. A seat harness did not work for me with the KiteWing.

Re: Slingshot Raptor kite

Rally did the nasty with a REV ( look it up kids) And this is the result I like the idea of that. There were some flight characteristics with the Rally that I did not like. The Rev was more harsh. Could be just what I am looking for. Still, I have my eyes set on another MFG for my replacement kites.

Re: Wingsurfing Right of Way

So I am the one that’s been dinking ? Yeah, fast typing. We both look like we have had a few. Maybe try to roll iriejohn out of bed, make him some coffee and breakfast, and he could proofread for both of us. Otherwise, are you down to just bitching about me? No more arguments about what right of wa...

Re: Wingsurfing Right of Way

3. Beginners - in all six groups have very little chance of changing course at all, and thus they have the right of way. In addition to that, I will also keep my distance so that I am never intentionally get close enough to come into a "right of way" situation with them. Oh come on I didn’t think y...

Re: Slingshot Raptor kite

Back to the thread: SlingShot "Switch Blade"? It’s definitely similar to other kites out there. But a switchblade? No. Looks like higher aspect to me Anybody with me on it looking a lot like the switchblade with that second pic now? This could get me to pay for parking at the event site to demo. Sw...

Re: Wingsurfing Right of Way

Thanks for answering for iriejohn. Did he pass out on you? A point you make about foils being constrained by draft, Your pecking order only works if every person on the water is aware of every foilers mast length and competence, which they won’t be.. And they say I "nitpick" things! I pretty much as...

Re: Wingsurfing Right of Way

As ever, it's all about you. Dang, man! You doing ok? Sounds like a pretty rough night at the bar. And this topic is not about me wingsurfing and how to stop kiters from running into me. I posted out of genuine concern for those interactions that could result in injuries, confrontation, or banning ...
