Re: Change lines on Duotone Click bar 2019

Splicing your lines is only about 1/3 of the process. Stretching them is where a custom line set really earns it's wings. For the rear lines, I stretch to a high load at least one month in advance. At the time of construction, I never load them more than body weight. For the front lines, I switch of...

Re: climate change /unpredictable weather/wind

Why does it seem just about all environmental concern, is always associated with the "left" ? Or am I wrong ? Those with left leaning mentalities have a tendency to be malleable in in thier positions. It is easy to get them to forget about an old narrative and replace it with a new or contradictory...

Re: Damage Waivers for Assisting Kiters

Mattheo some of us are dumb enough to wear helmets when kitesurfing which increases the chance of knock out due to larger surface area hitting water and making our brain slosh into one side our skull even harder then it would without a helmet. So yeah some of us are that fukn dumb and they are memb...

Re: Do all kites invert equally?

I don't think all kites invert equally. Has a lot to do with how balanced the kite is when slack lines. No, other factors like how clean the wind is, waaaaay more of a factor. I had a 2013 Best "Kahoona" 7.5.....Not just invert, nor bow tie.........it straight up "oragamied" on me, into a beach bal...

Re: climate change /unpredictable weather/wind

What?? your not convinced? My site about your site about my site about his site didn't clear it all up? That's strange. I won't pigeon hole you as a denier. I have no issues with your seeking the data, but I warn you about taking anything Marlborough says as genuine . He is kite forums most blatant...

C'mon Saul, don't be such a sheep. jumpy/star, Callin the "kettle black" now, are we? C'mon Saul, don't be such a sheep. The damning review you just reposted regarding a left leaning (read Bad bad people) is from a site so originally named "influence watch" which is a reactionary creation of your f...

Rescue situations

I want to say something constructive about this. .... stay with them until they are on dry land. Yes I agree. And maybe true for any hazardous environment and also fair to realize someone in distress may not realize they need help. I had the experience for my first time over 10000 feet and I had se...

Re: So my chicken loop broke + advice

At the top of a high jump. At home I pulled out the dyneema out of the PU tube and was surprised at how much sand found its way in there. I thought it was too snug for sand to get in but it does and grinds away. If you get any new PU tubing kite gear, seal it with silicone sealant. Bathroom stuff. ...
