Re: Duotone Evo and Juice

The downwind pull is awesome for jumps and floaty landings, just not so great for regular riding sometimes. I’m going to keep with them for now but it’s a very different feel to what I’m used to. Was considering Evos as I get on very well with the Juice in light winds and find the handling and bar f...

Re: Duotone Evo and Juice

65kg, all conditions from light wind either tt or foil up to nuking and boosting on a tt. Occasionally directional but not often. Typical all round needs! I have just started riding Reedin Supermodel V3’s and while there are aspects of them that are amazing, I’m not liking the crazy amount of downwi...

Re: Duotone Evo and Juice

Yes aware of the gap, might consider 10 and 8 but then need another kite! Never had an issue with the 3m gap with previous kites, alternative is 11,9,7, downside being cost!
Already have the 13m Juice which is a great kite although does look a little flimsy.

Re: Duotone Evo and Juice

I thought they looked very similar but there must be some difference given available in overlapping sizes?
Was thinking standard or possibly SLS, not sure I can justify Aluula. 10m and 7m possibly to compliment my 13m Juice, which is a standard construction too.

Duotone Evo and Juice

Can anyone who has both comment on whether both of these kites have similar flying and handling, bar pressure etc?
Thanks in advance.

Reedin Supermodel 3 - help

Hi all, I have just started riding with a new set of Reedin Supermodel 3’s. They are excellent kites, fly great in all kinds of conditions including gusts. Jumping and float are amazing and I’ve easily beaten all of my previous records for height, distance and hang time in a few sesssions, albeit wi...

Re: Wow, he got so lucky!

Got to say I’m still confused as to what scenario makes someone walk to the beach holding the kite with lines attached and dragging along the ground, there are so many ways that can go wrong.

Re: Wow, he got so lucky!

Well that counts as one of the most idiotic ways to start a kite session that I’ve seen in a while…

Re: Why is wingfoiling so popular?

I’d agree on the proficiency thing. From what I can see at my local spot, wingfoiling seems to involve sitting in the water failing to achieve anything for about 75% of people…

Re: Reedin HTF vs Supermodel V3

Supermodel seems pretty rock solid in the air to me. Handles well even if depowered. Wouldn’t say the 11m is the fastest turning but it’s pretty easy to loop.
