Re: Strutless Gong Kite Reviews?

Hi Nayy, Thanks for the review. Nice to hear that kite is stable in lulls. I'm on the almost same number of sessions as you are, was on the winter break and will start foiling in one month again. Can you comment on the fluttering in the transitions? I have similar wind conditions in my home spot, j...

Re: Strutless Gong Kite Reviews?

Hi Nayy, what do you think, for the 75 kg rider is 12 too much for foiling? I got some recommendations to take 10. I plan to use it from 7 - 12 knots. Thanks today I flew my strutless 12 V2 after 5 months of winter sleep on short lines 24m with my f-one IC6 foil... I foiled from 14-16u wind was bet...

Re: Strutless Gong Kite Reviews?

I have gong v2 12m strutless and I'm happy with it, using only it for foiling and winter(snow) light wind days. Good build quality and good kite in every way. Relaunch in light winds is hard but sure it's with every LEIs. This flies in lighter winds than normal strut kites, if you drop it in margin...

For use on the foil, I don't think you can go wrong with this kite, bot don't go bigger dan 12m².

My take is, the Gong Strutless are great, and also considering the price (and their built-in advantages and disadvantages - as designed), you cannot go wrong with them.

Do you use it for foiling? Can you please comment on the low end of the kite?

Re: Vacuum bags

I used them couple of times. It’s perfect solution for traveling, saves lots of space. Just make sure that your kite is folded nicely before you vacuum. I was traveling like that and I was using kitebag as my hand luggage.

Re: Hydrofoiling Hua Hin Thailand

Hi adventure logs, try to find kba and air stylers kite schools (next to villa marocc). Usually all the kiters are in that area (it’s possible to kite alone anywhere on the beach) except Russians, they are having their school more south on the same beach. Accommodation directly on the beach is expen...

Re: Hydrofoiling Hua Hin Thailand

What would be the best way to protect yourself from jellyfishes? I have a 5/4 suit which is going to basically be useless there. Can I get something fairly inexpensive local? Any kind of nightlife in the Pan Buri area? Also is there anything particular wrong with Hua Hin? I'm most likely going to b...
