Re: Cabrinha Switchblade 2018

Hi, I am also from Kiel. 11m is quite big for 56kg but I think it's OK during summer, because the wind is usually pretty weak around here during that time. You will get more time on the water then. For winter/spring you probably want a smaller kite. I like the switchblade. It has a nice low end and ...

Re: Board recommendations

Hey, I don't know much about liquid force boards.
I used to ride a freeride board and switching over to freestyle board made such a difference. Edging, rider input, pop. I am really happy I switched. I now ride the Naish Monarch and am very happy with it!

Re: Inexpensive long-term Kite destination Feb-April

Hey guys, thanks for all your replies!
I will focus my search on Cap Verde, Columbia and Dakhla.
Thailand sounds very nice, since I love the food. But I would like some stronger wind consistency.

Thanks again!

Inexpensive long-term Kite destination Feb-April

Hi guys, I've had an accident (not kite related) a while ago but am fully recovered again. I was able to work and put a little money on the side. I have basically time off from early February until late April since I am switching jobs in May. So for the time off I am looking to travel some place whe...

Bindings/Boots for women

Hey girls, I am male and I have a question regarding bindings. I have fairly small and slim feet (eu=41, us=8.5) and usually can shop in the womens department for shoes :P. I also have trouble with bindings when it comes to kitesurfing. I never quite feel that I have proper footing on my board. Any ...

Re: Teamrider conditions

Thanks. I wasn't looking for exact numbers. Just a general idea. Came home from a trip a couple of days ago where I met a teamrider whose conditions weren't as good as I thought. But makes sense that there are different rates. As a sidenote. I always talk with my peers at work about how much I make....

Teamrider conditions

Hey guys,
I was just wondering if anyone knows how big a discount teamriders get in buying new gear? Was doing some research on the web but couldn't find much information.
Maybe one of you has some insight. 8)
Best regards!

Re: Boots Vs Foot Straps

I kind of want to hijack this thread with a question related to boots. If i don't get responses I'll start a new one.

I am thinking of switching to boots. What are different things to keep in mind?
It seems to me there is not much choice. So do I just get a pair or are there big differences?

or can't edge and pop after unhooking because of pressure?
Basically this. But all your answers helped. I wait for wind and keep on trying! Thanks again :)

and don't ride around unhooked all day nobody is that buff to hold a kite down forever. You just want to be unhooked for long enough to throw your trick.
Haha, no I didn't plan to ride unhooked all day :D
