Re: Freestyle kite cabrinha FX or Naish Dash

Hi, don't know if you bought your gear yet. I use FX myself. 2018 gear though. Good flies dash so I get to use them a lot as well. First of all I like both and I am sure you will be happy either way. Differences are pretty slim from what I can tell. However for slack and unhooking I feel the dash is...

Hi Hugh, always enjoy reading your updates. I just arrived in CPT. Am wondering what website you use for windforecast. I feel like windfinder is not very reliable at kite beach.
See you on the water :thumb:

Re: what is the best 4/3 wetsuit on the market ?

I don't think there is a best be it all wetsuit. I recommend trying some on in the shop. I ended up getting a completely different one than I initially set out to get just because it fit nicely. Ended up getting the C-skins rewired wetsuit. Very happy with it and been riding it for 2-3 years now. Pr...

Re: Complete Tear ACL

I am not a surgeon but work in medicine. In my opinion you should get it done if you are willing to sacrifice recovery time. In the long run you will probably benefit more since you are super young. I have two friends who are very talented athletes. They both tore their acl and got it done. They als...

Re: Cabrinha Switchblade 2018

Hi, I am also from Kiel. 11m is quite big for 56kg but I think it's OK during summer, because the wind is usually pretty weak around here during that time. You will get more time on the water then. For winter/spring you probably want a smaller kite. I like the switchblade. It has a nice low end and ...

Re: Board recommendations

Hey, I don't know much about liquid force boards.
I used to ride a freeride board and switching over to freestyle board made such a difference. Edging, rider input, pop. I am really happy I switched. I now ride the Naish Monarch and am very happy with it!

Re: Inexpensive long-term Kite destination Feb-April

Hey guys, thanks for all your replies!
I will focus my search on Cap Verde, Columbia and Dakhla.
Thailand sounds very nice, since I love the food. But I would like some stronger wind consistency.

Thanks again!
