Re: Are Carbon Bars worth the extra price?

yes I use this bar for foiling only. check out the threat about this bar to find its benefits and limitations https://kiteforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=196&t=2403644 If you want my opinion: brilliant design, very light and minimalistic. 2 problems: teflon tube is fragile (turning the bar and pulling at...

Re: Are Carbon Bars worth the extra price?

Thanks for the thoughts. I will be using the bar for more than foiling, but I'm a small rider, so I think that breaking the bar would be unlikely even when jumping. I won't be doing any unhooked riding. I love the idea of having a depower free bar but that will also mean a longer throw and I have sh...

Are Carbon Bars worth the extra price?

Hi. I'm looking at possibly buying a Carbon bar and am wondering if it's worth the additional over my comparably heavy Slingshot Sentinel bar. The Groove Carbon bars (https://www.groovekiteboards.it/system-bar-2/) look nice and are very minimalistic but are a bit expensive at around $600 complete wi...

Help me choose good board to learn and progress on

I'm trying to decide between a few boards to learn and progress on. I own a 2018 Cabrinha double agent but I'm looking for something a bit more stable. I tried a slingshot setup and it felt less jumpy. So can you guys give me some advice between a few models? Slingshot Simulator Slingshot WF2 Slings...

Re: North Rebel vs Core XR vs Cabrinha Switchblade

@Leon
I did search this forum and others for comparison and although some have comparison of two, none compared all three.

@leeuwen
Sounds like I should base it on quality and resell value if these are equivalent. Core seems to lead with that but I dislike their twist QR.

North Rebel vs Core XR vs Cabrinha Switchblade

Ok guys I need help making a decision since I'm unable to demo. I have an older quiver of Slingshot Rally's from 2012 that I'd like to upgrade from. I know that kite tech has come some way in the past 7 years and I feel like I am outgrowing these. My riding style is freeride and I would like to move...

Re: Cabrinha Fireball Dimensions

Wow, very helpful guys. Looks like this could work for me. I'm 24 inches from armpit to fingertips. I am using a rope slider with the Slinghot bar and talon which brings the bar down to about 7 inches from me. I just thought this bar looks cool and is intuitive. I'll give it a go. Thanks to all for ...

Cabrinha Fireball Dimensions

Does anybody know the distance on the Cabrinha Fireball between the headcap (where the bar can touch when pulled in) and the actual ball that connects to the bar? See image. I have short arms and am wanting to know the distance the bar will be from my waist when all the way in/out to determine if th...

Re: Is the Cabrinha Double Agent a good board to start with?

Quick question. Is there any benefit or negative impact of using the included 50mm and 30mm fins at the same time as having the foil attached? Just thinking that maybe I would try it first using it as a surfboard and then try it with the foil.
