Re: Who makes the best Wing Thing

I also heard F-one swing and Ozone wasp are the preferred wings. Interestingly Naish have recently released a new version of their "Wing Surfer". I'm told that original Naish 4m wing wasnt very powerful for it's size. The new Naish wing comes it multiple sizes and has transparent window sections in ...

Re: Reedin kite ads doubled lines

Could it be that they wanted to thw lines to be really easily seen in the photos, so they doubled them up in the photo shoot?

Re: Reedin kite ads doubled lines

Can't say that I could see that but the kite and bar look very nice to me. They seem to clearly have either purchased or copied the Ozone click in loop, and the double pu centre line and untwist function, plus super easy bar length adjustment all look well thought out to me. If I was in the market ...

Re: Moses 873 for Windwing

That's interesting to know that 15knots isn't enough wind (although dont doubt that an advanced rider could make 15knots work). I'm considering buying a wing foil setup. I would buy a Moses 1100wing (2100cm²), and probably a 130litre board, but I would be torn about whether to buy a 6m or 5m wing. I...

Single strut kite wind speed?

It's clear that single strut kites are more effective in light winds compared with kites with 3+ strut. However, as the wind increases the befefits of light weight single strut kites begin to deminish. I'm interested to hear people's opinions about what wind speed they would consider the benefits of...

My 590 is for sale. If I weighed 190 lbs I’d keep it
Are you saying that the 590 is better if you weigh less than 190lbs, or better if you weigh more than 190lbs?

Re: Ozone Alpha 10 and 12 difference?

Hi I've tried both 12m and 8m alpha with twintip in its "higher"(for me) windrange. 12m in about 14 knots to 16 knots. And 8m in around 25 knots gusty wind. Well 12m is a fantastic kite, it handles smoth. But the 8m did not handle very well (in high wind). The One strut design flutters, and did not...

Re: Ozone Alpha 10 and 12 difference?

I've decided to sell my 10m Alpha because I'm buying a 12m instead... I would have kept them both, but I also own a 9m Naish Pivot. The Pivot isn't as light as the Alpha, but it's much better on a twintip (and still Ok with a hydrofoil , just not quite as good as the Alpha), but personally I cant ju...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Which 2 Flysurfer Peak kites would you choose for a 90kg rider using a Moses 633 hydrofoil in low to medium winds?

I'm thinking 11m and 5m... would you agree?

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

The below wind range table is taken from Flysurfer website Can someone please update this chart with typical wind range for a 85kg intermediate hydrofoil rider? I dont want to know the theoretical low end/top end for a professional rider, but the realistic low end/top end for the average 85kg rider...
