Re: Moses 633 lover want more speed ?

How much more speed do you want?

Here are a few options (avoiding race wings). As a generalisation the lower aspect ratio means more maneuverable.

Re: Aluula? New Revolutionary Material from Ocean Rodeo

My gut feeling is that the stiffness of the leading edge material is more important in a wing than a kite. My thinking is that a kite has multiple bridle attachment points along the leading edge to help support the required curved leading edge shape... this makes it difficult for the leading edge to...

Re: Looking for foil pumping advice

It's worth mentioning that it is a common misconception that pumping indefinitely or for long distances on flat water without any external propulsion is possible on most large foils. The reality is that even the largest, highest aspect ratio foils can only be pumped long distances by the most experi...

Moses Bolt Torque?

I have a Moses 1100 wing that I'll be using for wingsurfing. The Moses wing-to-fuselage connection isn't the stiffest, particularly for very large wings like the 1100. So in an effort to get the stiffest connection possible I want to make sure the 3x bolts are tightened to the maximum allowable torq...

Re: Naish 2021

Anyone problems with the 2021 monarch fins? I lost already lost one. screws are getting lose after a session. You cannot turn the screws tight anymore. Screw thread is gone. I thought they would have locktite on them to make sure it doesn't loosen. If they do not, then get some from the hardware st...

Re: Moses 633 compared to F-one Phantom 1080

I worked thru the gammet of stabilizers for it - starting at the 483 and moving down the 450, 425, 421, 420, 330, 325 and finally ending at the completely loving the 380 which is how I rode this setup on the stringy Moses superfuse. I didn't know Moses made a S380 stabilizer? I tried Googleing it, ...

Re: Slingshot Phantasm Carbon foil launch - 2020

Last drop for today - am I the only one who ruined stabilizer pointed down wingtips like 483 has? One of the reasons I’m not even thinking of s400 is that I don’t want to be fixing it after couple runs into a bottom. I also put a couple of chips in my Moses S483 stabilizer. The wingtips on the S483...

Re: Mystic stealth rope spreader w/ Navigator Bar

I added a rope to my Mystic Stealth hook spreader bar and It works great. I originally using a rope slider ring inside my chicken loop like in the photo above but the chicken loop occasionally gets caught on the hook. So i ended up buying a 50mm stainless steel ring (same as the one sold by mystic w...

Re: Slingshot Phantasm Carbon foil launch - 2020

Solid Build ! I am very impressed with the Phantasm foil lineup. I have 2 sessions on the PFH 633 , it is much stiffer and more durable feeling vs the previous GW version. The front wing appears to be mounted to the fuselage with 3x screws like Moses. I'm wondering if the new Slingshot Phantasm fus...
