Both 699 and 799 have a pretty thick profile. I would describe the ride as mellow on the kitefoil. Neither will win any races on kite or wing foil. Very fun wings for small waves but too slow for chest high waves. Amazing lift at a crawl and enough speed to be fun. Thus, I'm assuming 699 neither 79...
