If you’re local (or just lucky), then sure you can just wait and see. But if you need to travel + rent a house, then are you going to call the kite schools weeks in advance? Even if you do, there’s no guarantee the weeds won’t come back. Sure OBX remains a kiting destination. Just not a foiling one ...
