Re: Litewave Wing

I am a tall 240 lbs and love the 165 in a blow. I have tried several other carbon boards that claim to "eat up" chop but have not ridden anything that comes close to the smooth ride of the Wing. without giving up speed or pop. It is just so easy to load up and hold an edge in chop (that would bounce...

Re: Fly surfer soul wind range

Got the 12m Soul now too (in addition to 15M) and it has made my 14 LEIs, and maybe even my 12s obsolete because of its range. At 110k I now fly the Soul 12 when other guys are on their 12/14 + LEIs. The extra hang time has helped my jumps dramatically. In an earlier post I mentioned that the 15m so...

Re: Fly surfer soul wind range

Regarding 12 vs 15m. If you like riding bigger twintips, directionals and/or foils, the 12 might be the way to go. If you are looking to get the max time on a twintip, I would suggest the 15. You will not be disappointed either way, they will both work amazingly well in their huge range! Can't wait ...

Re: Fly surfer soul wind range

I am not affiliated with any brand or shop but am a recent Flysurfer "convert," at least with their Speed 5 (12m) and Soul 15m. At 110k and longtime "perpetual" intermediate kiter, I really like the Soul 15, especially over my (largest in quiver) 14m tube kites in light air. Comparing the Soul 15 to...

Re: Why not more canards ?

This guy has an interesting canard (can also be set up standard) and light aluminum mast - never tried (still learning on a Hoverglide), but looks like a very cool concept. https://www.foilsurf.net/

Re: Beginner Board Advice: Door vs Regular Large

I Have to agree that Litewave Dave's Wings are awesome for big guys (250) in all wind conditions. They feel great on both ends of the spectrum, eat chop, and make it ridiculously easy to load and pop for getting much better airs. I demoed the 165 way underpowered on a 10 and was still able to get so...
