Re: Sealing alu strut - still a no-no?

I've used silicon sealant on a couple of masts and never had any water getting in. Just make sure you thoroughly clean the inside surfaces of the mast where you inject the sealant. If you need to remove it it's very easy to do with a sharp knife.

Re: What is the biggest kite you use for foiling?

10m Ultra on a 125cm custom with Shinn K. This set up is good from 8 knot average wind. Used to have 12m gong strutless which allowed a lower wind speed (7knots) but not much so sold it in a clear out of kit. Not a big fan of going out when it's very light. Yes, you can on a foil but TBO I find it g...

Re: Race lines

Thanks for the safety points but if I go for the thin lines (looking likely) I'll make up a separate bar (have an old gong bar) just for those and have two bars...a 22m thick set and a 30m thin set

Race lines

I'm currently using a cabrinha bar and lines together with extensions to 30m for light winds. I'm considering getting a set of 30m race lines to replace this. Has anyone moved to using race lines for light winds and did you really notice a difference? Dont want to waste money on something that I won...

Re: Wanted - Carver wing a Zeeko foil

Zeeko have got back to me and sadly the new bigger Carver is not for the blue and white (white and blue?). This is what they had to say: Indeed the new Carver Wave Wing 950 will not be compatible with White Blue / Black fuselage because they were designe, developped and produced more than 5 years ag...

Re: Wanted - Carver wing a Zeeko foil

https://youtu.be/bLvios_UZk0 Here Gunnar compares the green and white (which IS compatible with the new Carver wing) with the blue and white (which isnt)...according to him the two are identical except for having different sized fins, a plate that has cutouts instead of holes, and front wing bolt ho...
