Re: Kiteloop beginner

I saw that move a lot. I think you steer the kite up and while the kite is going up, you do that mini jump. If someone knows how it works and could share that would be nice! I think I've figured it out today. The mini jump is during preparation of the kite before you send it: 1. Edge with kite at 4...

Re: Kiteloop beginner

There are two settings for RPM 1. Wakestyle setting - for unhooked tricks. 2. Freesyle setting - for hooked in tricks including kiteloops For wakestyle setting you attach steering lines on + and center lines on the knots farest to the center (kite will be deeper in the window). For freestyle setting...

Re: Kiteloop beginner

Kitemenn I agree it is for better slack during unhooked tricks. But see how big he goes in this jump. He does not seem to be overpowered. Also you can see the shadow of the kite that is sent back through the zenith and then he lands it with a downloop.

Re: Kiteloop beginner

Exal yes, it is on freestyle settings for faster loops. dragnfly I think you may be also right. I had the right feeling with the 'smooth' version and I landed it without crash. I have a tendency to move the kite very fast when I initiate the jump and cross 12 pretty much because it gives me better v...

Re: Kiteloop beginner

Thanks guys for detailed replies. I did hundreds of 10m+ jumps (if we can believe in woo but I am sure it adds some extra height so more ppl buy it;), but nvm) and I land most of them successfully using either kiteloop or downloop aka heliloops. Now I feel ready for a step forward. My first powered ...

Re: Kiteloop beginner

I did the homework and practiced everything from the video many times before I started to loop at 5+ meters. And that is the result of the practice. Maybe my loop was not tight enough or I forgot to let the bar go after the loop. It happens too fast. I guess all I can do is to continue practice and ...

Kiteloop beginner

I have just started to loop in 20+ knots on RPM 9m. Most of the time I was crashing but a few times I landed successful being caught by kite. What is weird is that I was caught when the wind was weaker, so I probably did the loop in a different way. Can you please explain how to increase probability...

Re: RPM 14m

I’m getting a feeling that Razors are a tad smaller area than my Rally’s/Turbine. 25+ knots would be the perfect wind to jump my 200 lbs of weight on 9m Turbine to 10m easily. I probably would be in trouble harnessing power of my 11m Rally at 25 knots at all. So either Razors have less pull or we h...

Re: RPM 14m

I'd say that 14m RPM is total waste of money for your weight. It's a proper "regular" size for 105kg fella. Big boys' kite and it would feel slow like heck How high are your best jumps? Thanks for advice. I cannot tell you how exactly high are my jumps because I don't own a sensor yet, but on some ...

Re: RPM 14m

I want only RPMs in my quiver, because it fit all my needs. All other kites will be sold. I prefer to own kites with similar behavior only. Turbine is not fun for me; it has good low end, but it is horrible at the high end. I love my Razor, but after two hard days with long sessions my hands are use...
