Re: Fatality @ Sydney

Really sad to hear. I'm guessing it was getting towards 7m weather. There is rock groins to prevent beach erosion. But it is a beginner spot due to its flat water. Sadly this could be kitings youngest fatality.

Re: Surfboard weight

A lot of crew are moving onto PU blank with epoxy resin. Especially if they have access to a custom board maker. EPS blanks are cheaper, and have some nice qualities, however a PU blank is far nicer to ride above all these strange kite board composites that come and go.

Re: New grip on Cabrinha bar

If you buy the right foam, you can use contact adhesive to attach it. Not much help here, but we used to do it years ago and it worked fine. The challenge is to get a non porous foam.

Re: Cheap place to kite Dec, Jan, Feb (Maui alternative)

Western Australia, while not as cheap as The Philippines, better surf and flat water, everyday wind. Hire a camper van and head north.

Eleveight OS

Any one used the OS? Would it be good as a surf kite?

Does the FS have any crossover into waves like a Dice or is it pure freestyle?
Thats the RS. The RS is the Eleveight equivalent of the Dice, still great for jumps I'm told but loops and drifts well too.
