Re: 33% or 50% size gap for foiling quiver

As they say, if n = number of kites, then n+1 = number I want

Strapless Foiling Roll Tacks

Anyone got these down and remember how to get through the stage of feeling like your feet were switching on a board that was on top of marbles?

Re: Ozone vs Airush Click Style C-Loops

Sand is the nemesis of all things mechanical, no doubt about that. I had my first water session on the Airush today. Very happy with how it performed with thick mitts on. My other system is a total PITA to reset with mitts.

Re: Ozone vs Airush Click Style C-Loops

So I was able to try both the Ozone and Airush click loops. Both seem to work very well on dry land. I ended up with the Airush for one reason that involved the click loop, and two that did not. 1. The Airush loop seemed a bit more solid to me. However, the Ozone loop has a neat feature of not havin...

Re: When will the kite industry provide something other than chicken loops and hooks?

^^^ Exactly. In warm water it all works. I foil through the winter in 38F water and 33F air. The small shackles etc are really tough to reload in these conditions with thick gloves on, especially three finger style . Doable, but pretty tough. I am going to go try out some click style loops this week...

Ozone vs Airush Click Style C-Loops

Anyone have experience with both of these 2020 style loops? What I am looking for is EASY, fast reload in deep COLD water with thick three finger gloves on. I don't care if it's one or two handed; just easy to do. On paper, the Ozone looks easier but I have not yet had the chance to try either. I on...

Re: Who Bought WMFG?

The SS and LF pumps are nearly identical to the WMFG. I currently have one of each--3 pumps. They all work well. All three of them suffer from hose breakage. I keep a knife and contact cement handy. The hoses get shorter but the pumps live on. I buy the tallest pump at the lowest price as needed.

Re: Tacking Variations - Ideas

Impressive move. Super smooth. Any tips on strapless foot switch tacks besides 10,000 attempts, which I have NO PROBLEM committing to? I have my heel to toe and toe to heel tacks down. Now, I want to switch my feet mid-tack. I only ride strapless and use LEI kites. I have gotten around with a switch...
