Re: Q-power line

Replace you red safety line after around 1 years use. It will snap if forgotten about, it wears inside the Pu depower line and right down to the quick release, Below you will see my mates red safety line after 10 months regular use, he snapped it during normal use last Saturday, and then dropped it ...

Re: Q-power line

Always use the north type pigtails as below, attaching straight onto the kite pigtails is not great as the q line really tightens up small and is hard to undo on the beach with cold fingers. https://s18.directupload.net/images/190618/8lmjbzjb.jpg https://s18.directupload.net/images/190618/c8u7fe6d.j...

Re: looking for a new Lightwind tubekite Help!

mmm, interesting thread as I was chasing the same dream, wanting to stay with lei kites as previous experience with foil kites on Ttips had put me off ever trying a foil kite again. but, recently after two sessions in very marginal conditions on my best ever light wind LEI - the new 12 mtr Ozone Alph...

Re: check your line knife, shock.

Where did you get the rope to test? As far as I know I don't have any spare rope on my bar that I could test. Ps: English is not my native language, is 'lofted' a correct way to write lifted in past tense? have you never snapped a line? I have, a good few times and always kept the snapped lengths, ...

Re: Foil boards with minimal volume (built like a twin tip)

this for me is odd,
can you say why you prefer a board and rig which from my experience sinks just under the water surface, and can not be seen as a result when you crash?
its certainly a feature that make me avoid that route.

Re: Minor repairs to carbon wing

Any tips and tricks to keep my brand new Moses 633 in tip-top condition? Presumably most damage is causes by riding in too shallow water? tip number one is to have a spare 633 wing with you in the car. the wing is very easily damaged anytime you hit the bottom, and if there are shells or rocks down...

Re: Minor repairs to carbon wing

A few of us tried to find an easy reliable answer to minor foil wing repairs, Tried epoxy putty and it was poor at sticking, Then we found this JB epoxy filler, It dries grey, so has to be touched up, but after a while that gets to be tiresome, so I leave mine or if very small then use a black mark...
