Re: Core Sensor Bar 3 release

previous Core bars was the QR. better or not it was not the standard and it was a problem :thumb: Problem solved for sure now When you want to ditch your kite...you want to push it away from you ….common sense Except for that little detail in that when trouble comes the kite is already getting away...

Re: Why do manufacturers do not list board weight?

, lifespan on light construction can be measured in weeks for a heavy rider. That might be the case in your Walmart bargain basement world, but not so in the COREporation... sometimes Mattypoo, paying that extra buck does have its benefits, maybe if you moved into a dumpster instead of the extravag...

Re: Robby Naish Honored as Inductee to Hawaii Waterman Hall of Fame

Rob was surfing 40 years ago and winning World windsurfing championships aged 13, 43 years ago, I'd say they were just a tad late.

Re: Why do manufacturers do not list board weight?

Very often the combined hardware, fins, straps and pads weigh more than the actual deck. In windsurfing board weights were important and played a part in performance. Kiteboards are not quite as performance oriented, although there are more signs in the foil world that weight is a factor. I haven't ...

Re: We should be wearing sunglasses throughout the day and especially while kiteboarding! Why aren't we?

Is there any real reason to find an alternative to sunglasses? My eyes ain't that pretty that I need to show them off out on the water. I just keep losing them. It can be hard to find them even if they float, sometimes I even struggle to spot my board in big waves :) I've seen people attaching sung...

Re: Why don't all kiters read Kiteforum?

Why everyone is not on this forum? I would think that's obvious. This is english forum. Not everyone wants to think very hard and long about how to put the english words to make sense. Does this make sense? Took me 5 minutes at least  35 words 'n all that's very good for an Aussi. Why don...

Re: Lighter vs Heavier Kites - Durability

Ironic this thread should appear the day after Core launched their X-Lite which is a kite deliberately built with light weight in mind for foiling. Personally I've always been more in favour of build strength and quality over light weight and was happy enough that only kites 15 and over were built l...
