Re: Core Union Pro 4 pads - pinky pressure

My advice if you have a friendly dealer swap for the Large, those mediums are really aimed at sizes smaller than your 9.5.

Re: Helmets for kitesurfing and the bucketing and drag myth

I wouldn't go with a Gath for kite surfing, think you need something a bit sturdier. Re the bucketing thing, I used to WaterSki Race back in the mists of time, the races were 50 miles long and you are surounded by big powerful boats, so as well as the risks of high speed falls you've got boats and p...

Re: Nexus 3

Seems that Nexus is not a kite, but a program of the US Customs and Border Control, but you knew that already. No, I did not, thank you for the enlightenment, I hope US customs are not like the blundering fools we currently have enaged in customs bureacracy war between us and the French (EU proxy w...

Re: Nexus 3

I'm sorry, I don't get out as much as I'd like, that Ozone? I googled that, it's some kind of bleach company, you say they make kites, are they any good getting right round the Toilet U bend? Re: Nexus 3

Any idea what changes they made? I was hoping for something lighter Well you got it, lighter and stronger apparently if the spec of this new cloth is to be believed. It's definitely lighter (I know this from weighing them to ship out) It's faster in the air and has more low end torque. But really y...

Re: Nexus 3

Thanks for that, Core have been a bit quieter than normal with this one, haven't even seen the usual new kite post from Toby, whatever, the advice remains the same, this one is worth a look our demo guy really rates it and yes you could say he would wouldn't he...

Re: Nexus 3

pics or didn't happened. Its lighter because new material? I guess. We haven't been allowed to fly them publicly even though we've had them since early march so it had to be secret squirrel and no stuff on the internet, there'll no doubt be plenty of marketing bollox in the coming weeks, as there a...

Nexus 3

Rarely do I get excited these days about something new, but this one, is worth checking out, if you do one thing this summer, try and get a go on this, you'll be pleasantly surprised. If you've been around the block, got the T shirt, and just want the one kite, maybe do some waves, maybe foil, have ...

Besides. Why wouldn’t you keep your bar and lines up to factory spec. Otherwise it’s like letting you cars wheel alignment get out of spec. Things are designed to work within parameters and if you care about your equipment you should keep it within those parameters.
Exactly this ^
Well said.

Re: Core pigtails

Incidentally, this is the most combative, bellicose and pugnacious kite forum I've seen. Unsure why that's the case. Probably a pommy thing :D In Oz we are really supportive of each other and it is pretty much always a good vibe. Yes I tend to agree, not entirely Pom driven more often whining Seppo...
