Re: Hydrofoil protections

Agreed, I made my first few wing covers out of wetsuit limbs. Super ghetto, just a pair of scissors, tied a knot at the ends. Bam! I used foam padding and duct tape for a much more tailored set as my second set of covers. That was actually a pretty slick set, and I'd do that it again in a pinch, but...

Re: Foiling gear, upgrading.

None of those changes shaved much weight. My last upgrade was to a carbon se up and my choice was definitely i...

Re: Clouds are fragile

Re: climate change /unpredictable weather/wind

Really, that's the kind of thing you base your generalizations about global academia on. Take it easy there snowflake, no need to get triggered, this is a safe space. Take a deep breath, stand up tall and channel your inner lobster. Don't you know? life is suffering. There are crazy people that do c...

Re: Do all kites invert equally?

There was definitely less thought put into this aspect of LEI design before wave kites and the concept of Drift emerged as an important quality. Kites were designed for tight lines and were front h...

Re: climate change /unpredictable weather/wind

Wow, for someone making a show of looking for the data, your pretty well steeped in your ideology. I and most everyone I know are pretty centre, I happen to be centre left, if you feel we are so irreconcilable, it's not me bro, its you who have moved too far out to the edge for reasonable discourse ...

Re: climate change /unpredictable weather/wind

Hey man, if you think these few people are the root of our problem, your reaching for a group to ism against. The absolutely overwhelming majority of students and faculty at our post secondary institutions have nothing to do with this. Your opinions are clear, but are they backed by actual data or j...

He is kite forums most blatant example of trolldom. We've had many, but he is the archetype.

Re: climate change /unpredictable weather/wind

what??? Where is your data on that? I have no idea what university you went to or how many you are personally familiar with but there is no Marxist bent to the ones I attended. Nor at the one in my home town. I have visited most in my country and from my limited understanding of the culture at each,...

Re: climate change /unpredictable weather/wind

What?? your not convinced? My site about your site about my site about his site didn't clear it all up? That's strange. I won't pigeon hole you as a denier. I have no issues with your seeking the data, but I warn you about taking anything Marlborough says as genuine. He is kite forums most blatant e...
