Re: Triton Foils releases the first accessible monowing: Triton T1

I have done 2 sessions on Triton. I use it with Cedrus mast and 93cm pocket board. In short: - first 15 min were difficult due to low pitch stability - foot switches are much more difficult, I have maybe 30% success rate (99% on a normal foil) - it takes some time to find out where to place feet, wi...

Re: Lisbon for hydrofoil

I spent about 2 months there the last year (August, September). I used to go to just one spot called Fonte da Telha and usually there were other foilers too. I didn't have a car and kept my stuff at Windspirit, otherwise I'd have gone explore other spots too.

Re: Traveling with Kanaha Mucho Macho 37"

I think the dimensions from the site are not the dimensions of the inner space, it's the size of the whole bag. I used the blow dryer and stretched the bottom section 1-2 cm as shown in the pic. The board now fits in well, but still it takes some effort to put it into the bag.

Re: Traveling with Kanaha Mucho Macho 37"

I'm using this: https://www.ospreyeurope.com/shop/eu_en/rolling-transporter-120-2018 It was a bit small, couldn't fit my KS 37" in it at first, but I heated up the bottom section and stretched the plastic a bit and now the board fits perfectly. The bag is very durable, great for travel, but also a b...

Re: Moses 683 Freeride at speed

just to help anyone who has not yet started to do the de-grease routine before a session, all i would say is just try it, it's a major tip i picked up from the pros who sail at flag beach, mainly the flysurfer team race tech guy who i have now met for the last 2 seasons over there, he looks after t...

Re: Thailand Koh phangan

I tried to get info about kiting in Koh Phangan from some local schools and specifically asked about conditions for foiling. I was told there might not be enough water for foiling during the low tide - there is a reef and I'd need to cross it to get to deeper water. I planned to go there initially, ...

Scratched foil board - how to fix?

I have some small scratches on the foil board, it's Kanaha Shapes full carbon (I forgot to remove a ring before kiting).

I'd like to fix it, but I'm not sure what paint to use. Any recommendations?

Re: Travel bag for pocket quiver

I use this https://www.ospreyeurope.com/shop/eu_en/rolling-transporter-120-2018 - it can fit Kanaha shapes board, Moses onda (91 cm mast), wetsuit, harness, bar and 2 kites, it has 20kg. I took me some time to find out how to fit all in there, had to heat the plastic bottom of the bag to stretch it ...
