Re: North Reach 2024

New material on the LE (same as '23/'24 orbit), new panel layout (just straight rectangles, nothing fancy) and apparently also an improved LE shape (whatever that means  ), BUT still D2 shitstop  . Yes what is with these companies still using D2 ripstop it's 15yr old canopy tech!! North,...

Re: Naish Aluula Prototype

Will wait the usual -50%\-60% naish sale to buy them 😂 I'm yet to see any shops doing 50-60% off Aluula kites be it OR,Dlabs etc so I think that you will be waiting a long time. Dacron Reedin, Cabriniha, Naish and North kites are all discounted atm. As per usual from kitemana or King of watersports...

Re: Do you need Aluula Kites?

Sorry, it was really not what I expected. I would like to see an opinion, how the difference is in "real world" for a "normal rider". Not what designers/manufacturers say about it. I think that if you are not doing lots of looping in your riding. Then you don't really need aluula. Sure it flys more...

Re: Durability

At least the leading edges of many of the Dlabs and Flites I see online and at our spot look a bit worn. Don't know how long they will last. And if this is just cosmetic. I guess resell value will be lower for such a kite. (Quting my own post from September) That's not good :( Making me double thin...

Push the plastic tube upward on the hose insert the hose bring the tube down it acts as a clamp to pressure the tube so it doesn't pull out easily.
Windigo has given you the correct way to replace the tube. The hard plastic tube is the clamp on most kites that run this system.

Re: Freestyle Board Upwind ability

Hey everyone, I'm currently riding a 139x42 Duotone Jaime at a Bodyweight of 85kg and absolutly loving it. The only downside of it is, that it's not Boot Proof and thats why I am looking for another Board. I already tried the 142x42,5 Gambler and I didn't like it at all. Even in higher winds it alw...

Re: Naish Pivot S28

S28 Pivot has awesome low end. Probably same as the S27. Has a bigger sweet spot. Rode it in 11-16 knots and was going well. Boosting over sandbanks backroll kiteloops etc. Has a bit more bar pressure than the S27. But I like bar pressure as always know where the kite is. A bit more freestyle orient...

Re: Garmin app to measure jump height

On the Garmin site it says it's measures by the barometric altimeter. And to calibrate it occasionally and clean the sensors. Mine is the same as my Woo most of the time I suppose that Woo use barometric altimeter as well. I'm certainly not a expert. Maybe dachopper could let us know how it is calcu...

Re: 20m LEI Kites - Its Time

Try the new 17m RS V7 on light wind setting. That 17m is a beast of a kite. Wind range is 7-14 knots on the website. I flew one in 11-13 knots.
Pretty fast turning for a big kite. Pretty impressed.
