I use a 55 cm bar with all my kites. I run 5, 6 , 7, 8 and 9 meter kites.

Why? It's the only bar I've got, and it suits me fine. Like you say; just keep your hands in the middle of the bar.
Down to a 5, sounds fun! You dont have problem making the kite insanely fast? :D

Hi Kiteforum. I was wondering about what bar size other people use and why?, on my local beach I see everything from large to really, really small bars, PROS - CONS maybe? In got the H3 in 16m to use on my 140x43 brunotti youri zoon 2017 TT.. From around 10kn with weight 95kg.

Actully thats the way I did land my H3 a couple of times last session when every one was on the water. Worked very well, dont know if you are doing it slow or fast. I do not recommend landing the kite this way, always get someone to help, but if its not possible I usully get the kite down to touch w...

Ehm.. I use the same kite size, and same board size as my buddys... Riding a 140x43 Brunotti Youri 2017 with my 16m in 5-7m/s, 12m in 7-9/10m/s, and 9m from +10m/s. They are around 70-80kg, im around 100kg and have no problem going out on a 9m or 12m when they are out on the same, i never take a big...

I am considering Helium for light wind. I am riding TT, 80kg. Have 12m as biggest at the moment. Can someone with experience advice which size of Helium would fit better for TT in lets say 10-15knots. 16 or 18m?
