The GTS will give you the boost you need if you have a good technique and are well powered and will loop beautifully . But the Xr is designed for big air and floaty Jumps with more hang time and less technique required for a smooth landing. If I was gonna be focusing on megaloops I would definatley ...

If your out on the ocean with your full kite set up I'm sure buying a pair of half decent sunglasses wont leave you penniless. Fx is good in gusty winds havent noticed a huge difference from the bandit with gusts. But for loops and jumping I love the fx sense you up like a rocket but takes anhit more technique to land smoothly.

Spent all last summer teaching in Viana Do Castelo, really amazing spot and had good winds mostly in 20kts range so a 9 would suit you nicely . Also done a roadtrip down and kited at most the locations you mentioned but found Viana had strongest winds. Guincho was a great spot definatley big waves ....
