Re: What makes the kite "catch " you?

Cheers for the response! Get well soon! I land most my loops and so far no injuries. I know how to send big loops and understand what your saying but my question is what makes the kite catch you faster. For example if your outside lines are tighter the kite will react faster and the loop will be qui...

What makes the kite "catch" you?

So i've been sending big kiteloops for a while now . Took out a friends bandit and noticed that the kite was able to catch me much sooner than my kite which is an fx. What actually makes the kite come back up to catch you sooner after the loop? Of course the shape of the kite will give it a faster t...

Re: New Woo Record by Maarten Haeger

The 8.1g was his hardest landing of the session that day, not necessarily the biggest jump.

These guys are going massive and the skill and commitment is insane! When the wind is blasting 50kts I bet its hard to get a photographer standing in the beach videoing for more than 5minutes 😂

F-one Bullit

Just saw the release of the Bullit from Fone which is aimed specifically for megaloops, how much different can it be from the bandit?

The Bullit will be Liams weapon of choice for KOTA.

Very curious to see what reaction comes from this kite, it could be yet another "game changer"

Take a walk right up along that area around the point it should have washes up somewhere considering the wind direction and the big curve of land. Also post it on the tsrifa kiteboarding Facebook page.

I'd ask the little windsurf centre there too about it

Good luck

Re: The best kite for Teaching?

I know many people are saying forget brand and just 3 strut kite will be fine but after teaching for a few years I do notice the difference between brands and am curious to get a bit more detailed info. The radar is a 3 strut kite - inverts often after a crash Catalyst also 3 strut - while teaching ...

Interesting post! That's deep stuff, I'm loving kiting every aspect of it being always aware of the weather while surrounding myself with a great crew of kiters in a lovely location. My partner kites too and we visit different countries renound for kiting. For us it's a major part of our lives and I...

Re: The best kite for Teaching?

Yeah I worked with the catalyst last season and loved it! Definatley a great relaunch and very stable in air. The season before we used Cabrinha radar which was fine but you wouldn't believe how many times that Kite inverts after a crash it just flips over and relaunches inverted. What advantages wo...

The best kite for Teaching?

Out of curiosity I'd like to get your opinion on the best school kite. From first flight, waterstart right up to first jumps. I've seen plenty of schools use a variety of gear but was surprised that some duotone schools teach with the Mono. Why not use the Evo for lessons? Airush have the classic DN...

Re: Honest advice lol

I uave to say I tried the 2019 NV 7m and it's an amazing kite huge boosting potential and punchy loops.

Also construction is very solid. Only thing I didn't like tisbthe valve it is an absolute pain to unscrew and to screw on and always takes time for it to go on the threads properly!
