Is it the GoPro app "Quick"? I've been messing with it and can't find it...
On iPad it’s called “Gopro”
Found it. It's on their app, which can be on a phone or a tablet, not a desktop or laptop...

Re: GoPro Hero 8 about to release?

Man, that is excellent!! :D did you do that in the GoPro App? On phone or computer? I was impressed as well. Hope to get the same on real footage. Unfortunately the forecast isn’t showing any wind for whole week :( Hopefully someone else can make a video sooner... I used the standard Gopro app on i...

Re: GoPro Hero 8 about to release?

Thanks! I only tested the gopro max in 25+ knots for now, and the weight wasn't a problem at all. The kite was still drifting very well (I'm used to having a session 5 in the lines). I use the u-go mount. Here is another version with a little more reframe work: https://vimeo.com/370864411/b50c568a3...

Re: GoPro Hero 8 about to release?

Just tried in-app horizon leveling with version 1.20 firmware - full rotation works amazingly with 4K/60 Does that work with a line mount? Do you have a sample video, that sounds amazing. Unfortunately, no wind for now :( , so just did “in hands” test... Original footage: https://youtu.be/ehl7NQxTx...

Re: GoPro Hero 8 about to release?

I saw somewhere that the hero8 black will have an auto leveling mode - this might help with line and strut mounted video. Does anyone have any experience with this? Would be super nice! The Noir Quark, not being truly waterproof, is not a legit option... No. The GoPro 8 does not have horizon levell...

Re: Vibram five finger booties for kiteboarding

Thanks for all the feedback and insights, lots of good considerations. I haven't tried the Vibram but when I have to wear foot protection I like these Ion Ballistic toes 2.0 ES they're light and segmented and the closest I've found to barefoot feel with good protection from the reef etc...theyve he...

Vibram five finger booties for kiteboarding

I was wondering if anyone has tried the Vibram Five Finger watershoes for kiteboarding. I end up kiting in a number of places I have to wear booties. I've tried several different ones and I never feel like I have a good fit with my foot straps which causes me problems jumping. When I can ride bare f...

Re: Flite sizing

I'm about 220 lbs and have used the 12m & 17m Flites for several years. I really enjoy both kites! Once in a while I'm on my 12 and would like a touch more power, so I grab a bigger board. And sometimes while on my 17 I want a bit faster turning kite, although I think the Flite has excellent turning...
