Re: Aluula ? New Revolutionary Material from Ocean Rodeo

Had a chance to demo 10m Roam (foil) and 14.5 Flight (TT) kites at Hood River couple of weeks ago. Really impressed by their lightweight, stability and super rigid shape. Thinking about getting 12m kite, but cannot decide between Roam or Flight. 12m is typically my main kite for riding TT and jumpi...

Re: Aluula ? New Revolutionary Material from Ocean Rodeo

Oh boy My local shop has advised me that delivery of my Alulla kites is once again set back. Like Iriejohn I sold the 2 kites to be replaced and I am left empty handed. If you are tempted to order new OR kites do not xpect them to be delivered in a reasonable time and certainly not at the annonced ...

Re: Introducing the World's Lightest and Strongest Kites - Aluula

I didn't have them both out that day as we've sold out of all 14.5m Flites so I can't be 100% on bar pressure. But on flying, the Aluula not only turns faster but the upstroke is noticeably faster. It's like there is less mass for gravity to pull on. It also seems to have a wider usable wind range....

Re: Introducing the World's Lightest and Strongest Kites - Aluula

If you want one, the only way to get one soon is to put money down. If you are not sure on size but you know you want one, still put money down as I bet we won't be the only store that will allow you to move your deposit from one size/model of Aluula to the other. Stafford - not ready to fulfill al...

Re: Introducing the World's Lightest and Strongest Kites - Aluula

Ocean Rodeo made the 10m Roam and 14.5m Aluula demo kites to hit the surf/foil and light wind markets. 10 and 14.5m would make a good quiver for many people. www.adventurekiteboarding.com Stafford, I am a bigger guy (225 lbs.). I've been riding Flites, a 12/14.5/17, and love them. Once in a while I...

Re: Introducing the World's Lightest and Strongest Kites - Aluula

I just had to jump in after reading the previous post. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, sure, but that is not an ugly duckling. I think the color scheme is elegant, bordering on sophisticated and a breath of of fresh air. I love it. I totally agree! Ocean Rodeo makes some great looking kites, ...
