On a surf spot with good wave give way to the guy in the wave.
It wasn't a surf spot. Chop and swells with starboard going out and port coming back to the beach.

Got called out for breaking the rules at a spot I was visiting. I wasn't yielding to a port tack. I try to give people space and stay out of the way, but when crossing paths, both people holding the line vs both people heading downwind causes about the same problem, so if it's gonna be close I hold ...

WB that is exactly how it is. I get your worries, but I have used Naish kites for a loooong time and I have never had an issue where the knot was too small. You should be fine. Just make sure you tighten the larkshead decently. I had one pop off snow kiting. It happened right at launch. It was cold...

I have a 17m and I don't like it as it's too slow. I only use a TT, so I can't speak to the surfboard, but a litewave really helps. It requires so much less power than my 140 to stay on a plane.
