Re: Duotone 2021

I just bought the new Clickbar and after using it 1 time, I am not completely convinced (yet). Feels like steering is way heavier than with a Trustbar, also got the feeling that these lines are still off from Infexion (or other SK99) lines. I didn’t dare to pull loops and also jumping got a differe...

Re: Jaystore / Dynabar are ouz of business?

Sorry to hear, I wish him the best. This company really brought the original and best sliding bar to the masses. I still use a sliding bar due to the Jaystore Dynabar.

Re: Using A Bicycle To Go To Beach With Hydrofoil

The metal point on the rear of that fuselage looks like it could do some cranial damage on the way to beach or maybe a nice back scratcher depending on how tall he is :o

Re: XTR kite construction for Tomo

I think my board was a 2015 or 2016. I don't know about the strength differences with their current offerings, but the main difference would be that the XTR core does not absorb water if dinged. Also, you can order custom sizes from XTR.

Re: XTR kite construction for Tomo

Contact XTR and have them build you the strongest layup they can do for kiting, especially on the deck. I previously owned an XTR Vader shaped by Tomo and used it for kiting. I installed NSI pads/straps and jumped the board a lot. I rode it for two seasons and never broke it. However, it did incur f...

Re: Sun protection for face

Haven't found anything better than this, www.bluelizardsunscreen.com Stays on a long time in the water and doesn't feel sticky or thick. Another great benefit is that it doesn't sting your eyes.

The 2020 Evo 7m is an amazing kite. Probably the best kite I have ever flown.

Re: Duotone evo 10 or 11

If unsure, I would err on the larger side. Can always ride overpowered but can't ride underpowered.

Re: Lift 200 for kiting

I'm still stoked with the 170 Classic wing. It has been great on all boards, I'm now using it on a small pocket board. However, I'm curious about the Surf series wings and different tail sizes for kitesurfing. If you have any experience with the Surf series wings and different size stabilizers, plea...

Re: Foil board: Fone Ts51 vs Fone pocket vs LF galaxy

I previously owned the Galaxy and now own the F-One Pocket 130. These boards are so different that they're not even in the same league. The F-One is hands down better in all areas. The F-One is a strong, durable and fairly light epoxy bamboo construction. The Galaxy is a cheaper stamped plastic twin...
