Re: Duotone Line Test - wtf?!

Gotcha, I understand. I trust my life on the Duotone lines so I don't believe they're "junk" as some have referenced. However, it sounds like there is definitely room for improvement, especially as the lines age. I'm all for safety and look forward to Duotone and other manufacturers improving and pr...

Re: Over-powered on big wings

That wind range looks about right NYkiter, I get about the same range with my Lift 170 wing. I'm also using Neo's and find them to be great kites for foiling.

Re: Duotone Line Test - wtf?!

Hmmm, that sounds harsh Matteo. I've been using North/Duotone bars for many years. Fortunately, I've never broken one of their lines. I live near the ocean and ride year round. I find that I get 3 years out of my lines before I replace them for safety (I do rotate 2 bars and take care of them). That...

Re: Durability of current Lift foils

No issues with my 2018 150 wing and mast. Been riding them regularly for a year in ocean conditions and they've been perfectly durable. Keep the covers on when transporting and they should serve you well. I love the Lift 150 & 170 wings, btw.

Re: harness choice, doctors tale of woes.

In the past, I have injured ribs when my harness rode up. What I learned is that it totally depends on the Spreader Bar. If you ride with one of the Round or oval style spreader bars, it is likely you will eventually injure yourself. However, if you ride with one of the Flat style spreader bars (Dyn...

Re: Fone convertible drag?

I think everyone is initially drawn towards the concept of a convertible board. However after riding one, I found the tradeoffs and compromises aren't worth it. Convertible boards work but they don't excel in either discipline. I think most eventually figure this out and end up with 2 specific board...

Re: Ultimate freestyle/wave foil - Moses 633 vs. Lift 150 (long-term)

[/quote] You should have a go in the 170 a step up in performance from the 150, as IMO best wing out there for waves and free ride, tried many and had the moses too very nice build quality for the moses must say, but ended up selling in favor of 170 and 36"&32" mast depending on conditions, I also s...

Re: Ultimate freestyle/wave foil - Moses 633 vs. Lift 150 (long-term)

:thumb: Love my 2018 Lift 150, great kitefoil for ocean conditions. After a long season of use, mine has been super durable with no issues. I've owned other carbon foils and this one is the most fun by far.

Re: where to buy a mhl lift foil in central europe?

I really like the 150 wing with 90cm mast. You should be able to order directly from Lift.
