Re: HELP! Alternatives to Lift 150 Classic?

Sounds like just a case of bad fit. There’s no such thing as “heavy front foot pressure”: that means ONLY that your feet are not in the proper place on the board. Move forward a few cm… I would have thought the same, until I got the Lift 150 Surf V2 (I also have the 170 Surf V1, 200 Surf V1, and le...

Re: Best Straps for Kitefoiling Board

The main thing is, whatever straps you use, make sure you adjust them to be very loose to avoid injury. For the front straps, I think V straps are great for hydrofoiling.

Re: Triton Foils releases the first accessible monowing: Triton T1

Just skimmed thru all 13 pages of this thread. Most of the videos and reports are of kite foiling. In my opinion, it is difficult to truly understand a foil when there is a kite holding it up and adding lift. If as the company claims, this foil turns well, glides well (low drag) and has a low stall...

Re: Lift foil 170 classic vs 150 surf v2

Compared to the 170 Classic, you will be amazed with the glide ability of the 150 Surf v2 on small wind swell. It will also make quicker and tighter turns. The turning ability probably depends on which tail you match with it. I am using the Glide 32 tail and find this combo turns very well.

Re: Lift foil 170 classic vs 150 surf v2

Do you find the lift foils noisy? I enjoy the 150 V2 but there is a low pitch scratchy noise compared to Moses or Ketos. I wonder if it’s the gap between the front and back wing? When I first received mine there was a slight hum, however I lightly sanded the trailing edges of the wings and it becam...

Re: Lift foil 170 classic vs 150 surf v2

Yes, I have owned and used both wings. They are both great but different. The 150 Surf v2 actually has more lift and much better glide than the 170 Classic. The 150 Surf v2 also has a longer fuselage and is more pitch stable while still being very quick to turn. The 150 Surf v2 is faster but can als...

Looks like you had some sort of line wrap that ate into the bar grip.

Re: Lift 2021

@mmac...Thanks for the review...would you mind sharing what the new (or old) distance is between rear bolts and the tail of the board, also what the overall length of your board is? Thanks.. I am using a 110 cm board with an adjustable mast track. With the 150 Surf v2, the distance from the rear bo...

Re: Lift 2021

After riding both the Lift 170 Classic and 150 Surf V2, I found the mast position needs to be moved backwards about .75" further back for the 150 Surf V2 wing. Originally I would have echoed what others have said about the 150 Surf V2. However, after moving the mast position back, I found the 150 Su...

Re: NKB/Duotone allen key

As mentioned, a surf fin key should fit and work fine.
