Re: sanding sharp edges on Moses mast and wings

Thanks , also just watched a video from DELTA hydrofoils on the demonstrating method which was very informative. But be carefull with your sanding, might end up with your foil whistling quite badly, specially if you just sand perpendicular as stated on the delta videos (did it on my Levitaz Bionic,...

Re: Foil kites - lost of center lines?

Cant fly, Cut one steering line with my hydrofoil, kite stood in the air until it flew to the other side and landed on the side of the wind window, a week later cut a steering line and a central line (again HF mast, and yes, already dulled the edge), kite colapsed inmediatelly. Thanks but in your s...

Re: Levitaz Cruizer vs Moses Onda

The Cruizer is 989 sq.cm the Moses 633 is 1235 sq.cm (but you can opt out for 683s which is 1005 sq.cm) The Cruizer is thinner wing with smaller/thinner stabilizer and would have better high end The Cruizer is swept back significantly and is more seaweed-prone than 683s (but comparable to 633) The ...

Re: Which kite is the easiest to re-lunch at low winds?

don't forget to sit on your hydrofoil when you relaunch. It's the only way to get enough resistance against the wind. ^^^^ This! Never thought to do this! I'm eager to try next opportunity. Not really, better to sit like a buoy on the water, if yo sit on your foil you will be dragged downwind.

Re: Flysurfer Soul 12 difficult to handle at the top end

Direnc, On that wind my mate is on 8m Soul, and he is about 70 +. 12m is quite slow compared to 10 or 8 and the reason why he is on 8 is quick redirect and looping. The reason why the other guy was not overpowered might be a small board, who knows... D. 72kg Just purchased a brand new 12m FS Soul f...

Re: Speed Record for hydrofoiling ?

Seems strange that since you can go faster in lower winds on a foil board and obviously there’s massively lower drag - the logical conclusion would be that you should be able to reach a greater maximum speed. Actually, when you have stronger winds on the hydrofoil you ll still need to have the mast...

Re: Buying advise: Crazyfly Shox vs Raptor LTD

I have a 140 raptor limited, as gisbon says, the boeard is super suft in the landings, mows though chop and has a nice grip.
As for the size, all up to your preferences, but if not an advanced rider i ll stick to the larger size (140)
