Re: Footstrap and pad upgrade

The apex is quite confortable. Ive tried the dually 2017, didint like it too much. Another really good option are the sp pads, you can customize for your size perfectly. They have velcro and rachet, which is awesome. Have a look in www.spboarding.com . By far the best foot straps ive ever used. They...

Re: mystic stealth bar

Nope. It's pretty much set it and forget it. The only variable for me has been a adding thicker wetsuit as the water gets cooler here. Thats no true for me. I still need to loose and re tighten it if i remove the harness, what was a big disappointment for me. Same with the click bar. None of them r...

Re: Xr5 15m lightwind? Or

I have ended up getting a Harlem light 14m. I am extremelly happy with! For my weight (66kg+-) i can start riding around 11-12kts ( cruising around, small jumps) on a small twintip, without the kite stall at all. I’ve managed to keep using it up to 17kts without lack of control. Very good quality ki...

Kitesurfing in Alaska-Anchorage

Hello everybody,

Is anybody has experience kitesurfing in Alaska, specially near to Anchorage? Any known spot, shops to rent gear (if possible) etc... I may have a shot to ride there on the beginning of October, however couldn’t find much information online only webpages from 2009.
Thanks in advance!

Re: What's the best waist harness?

I’ve tried ride engine and the majestic x on a shop and due to have felt the ride engine pinching my ribs at that time, I’ve ended up getting the majestic. Its super comfortable, clickbar 4 works well ( but you need to keep it clean from sand and best if lubricate after few sessions otherwise will b...

Xr5 15m lightwind? Or

Hi! Has anyone flew the Core XR5 15 m lw? Any idea how much this kite weight? I have the 12m and it is a truck however it barely stays in the air in light winds (let say 10 to 15 kts). The smaller kites that guys use were I am living now are 15m, but mostly are on 17m. Most of them using surf or foi...

Re: Legal Question ! Any Lawyers on Here?

I would first contact a university and raise the question. They could in a couple of weeks take some samples and create a numerical model of the local water circulation (if that haven't been done yet, what is unlikely) then a dispersion/ decay model for the pathogenic material. There is a lot of aca...

Re: Tefgel

For gear that needs to stay for months deployed in the sea, I use Copaslip or Loctite antiseize heavy duty. It works very well, and both are cheaper than Tefgel. I use those mostly in treaded connections of underwater cables. Need to confirm if is suitable for aluminum, but most likely yes.
