Re: Woo 4 mount reliability

I am using the open mount (classic) for more than a year, no problem at all. I still use my very first woo, that is already 3 years old. The connectors did get oxidized time to time, but just clean it with contact clear and the tip of a stainless steel knife... so far so good!

Re: Shiny Bronq advice

To owners or people who have tried Shinn Bronq boards - how are they? How is chop handling and pop? Is it a good boosting board? Interested in later Bronq models- backspacer/Luigi/crb-4 I haven’t tried the newer models, however I am riding a Bronq 135cm(3rd gen I think) for three years now. It is a...

Re: Another this vs that thread: XR6 vs PS for beginner

XR6 is the best kite: absolutely. It is a beginner kite: NO. In your case I would go for the Nexus ( i have both, Nexus and XR), the Nexus is a three strut, lighter and more forgiven kite than the XR. Easier to learn loops as well. The XR 13.5m is not a light wind kite. Although it can pull you arou...

Re: New Milestone in Kitesports Safety: ISO Standard 21853 on Quick-Release Systems

And they BOTH have the red STOP, front and dead centre to warn muppets that probably wouldn't know what a colour on one side of a bar meant, like the fools that don't now the difference or the colour coding even for Port and Starboard. Still, a small red word isn't what people will been looking whe...

Re: Why does Core xr 4 fly better on a core bar?

I've been using Core since 2014. The Geometry of the lines plus the hight "Y' split does make a difference. I tried different bars, and didn't get the flying caracteristics from my kites. The only other bar that worked very close was the Harlem IPS, its a click type (back line trim) bar and comes al...

Re: New Milestone in Kitesports Safety: ISO Standard 21853 on Quick-Release Systems

I like the core bar above But they also make this bar. With white on the left. 0D516C0E-D592-4FCC-9D56-BFA72DA9BE72.jpeg And just to confuse you this bar with white on the right 1C8FDE9A-3E5A-48F9-9362-69FDD164A937.png Definetely the color code on Core Bars is their achilles heel. I really think is...

Re: Different kites in different sizes quiver

It’s ok brother. Were here to support you. As addictions go its one of the more wholesome vices. Now here are a few helpful tips: Storage is key. Keep your quiver out of sight! You can’t just hang em on a wall anymore. No no no. Does she keep her shoes all lined up out there in the open? No, she do...

Re: Footstrap and pad upgrade

The apex is quite confortable. Ive tried the dually 2017, didint like it too much. Another really good option are the sp pads, you can customize for your size perfectly. They have velcro and rachet, which is awesome. Have a look in www.spboarding.com . By far the best foot straps ive ever used. They...

Re: mystic stealth bar

Nope. It's pretty much set it and forget it. The only variable for me has been a adding thicker wetsuit as the water gets cooler here. Thats no true for me. I still need to loose and re tighten it if i remove the harness, what was a big disappointment for me. Same with the click bar. None of them r...
