Re: Reviews on Naish Traverse 152 for average freeride?

I use a Liquid Force Boom (150) i think that both boards are similar. you definitely need more power than a freeride board to stay upwind but the trade off is that it feels really good in the chop and hard landings. imo the biggest downside of the boom and probably the traverse is the bomb proof con...

Re: Cabrinha FX2 reviews/opinions

Re: Cabrinha FX2 reviews/opinions

i think that the fx2 is the best kite from cabrinha right now, not sure why they dont push it more. not a huge fan of the switchblade.

Re: Cabrinha FX2 reviews/opinions

i wouldnt call it a full C kite, the fx2 is similar to the dice or pulse. pop is pretty good but not the same as a full c kite like a chaos. low end is a lot better than C kites. i have a 13m chaos and had a 13m fx2. the 13m fx2 moves really fast for its size and generates a lot more power than the ...

Re: Panama vs Cuba in November

Cuba from november to May is really good, best conditions are in los cayos ( cayo guillermo- cayo coco) but no locals allowed and just all inclusive resorts. My favorite spot is Varadero, i used to live there and now i visit every year, varadero gets a good variety of winds in november from 10-13 mi...

Re: Moving to Brooklyn NYC

Hey, thank you so much for all the info! I ended up getting a 9m and 11m. Instead of getting a big kite I’ll just add a foil to the quiver. I already have a 3/2 wetsuit but definitely need a 6/5 since I’m not used to the cold. I was planning to get a 6/5 without hood and just buy the hood separate s...

Moving to Brooklyn NYC

Hey, how’s it going? I will be moving to Brooklyn from Miami next month. I did a lot of research about the best spots in the area but couldn’t find any information about what’s the best quiver. My current quiver is 9m, 11m and 13m, I heard that it can get really windy in the winter, should I change ...

Re: Valve repair

I ended up using a flat head screw driver, had to be super careful because a single slip can make a hole in the strut. I’m going to try it tomorrow, hope that everything is good to go. Thanks for the help 🤙🏼🤙🏼

Re: Valve repair

What's your ambient temperature ? The PVC valves are pretty stiff and hard to put in place when cold. Apply a little warming with a hair dryer and the valve will soften up and be a LOT easier to pull in place and get that lip on the valve shoulder through and all around the hole in the kite fabric....
