Re: Best seat harness for foiling?

Petzl sequoia, the normal one not the srt version. Instead of a spreader bar it has a bridge that distrubutes load evenly between cushioned leg pads and the waist part, no matter what angle. It is really nice to ride switch. The extra loops are easy to take off. that s a 450 USD Harness man... plus...

Re: Best seat harness for foiling?

Have only had the sequoia in freshwater and snow, so don’t know about saltwater yet. Freshwater does not seem to do it harm. The weaver denali looks like it is made with leather, which could be a problem for water use. Petzl makes make very nice connector rings and strap parts which are not necessar...

Re: a seat harness you can bend at the waist with? does it exist?

Petzl sequoia (normal not srt) is bend and cush. Only downside are all the extra climbing loops on it.

Mystic foil seat also sits super low, easy to bend hips.

Re: Most fun kite in sub 10 knots and a surf wing

A bit of context should be given to that video. I am the 'Steve' referenced (flying a 6m Kitech). The wind dropped from 15mph to about 8mph, with lulls to 5mph, hence why I'm walking. I expect the 17m Aluula kite went down in one of these lulls. Thomas is a very experienced flier, and you can see h...

Re: Most fun kite in sub 10 knots and a surf wing

Also looking for a good light wind kite for the low wind days. I'm riding a slingshot hover glide on the infinity 76 surf wing, I'm 215lbs. I've only ridden LEI kites, core XRs, slingshot rally, so I was thinking about single strut or strut less. I have no idea what im doing when it comes to these ...
