Re: Lords of Tram - GKA Big Air World Cup 2024

Marc did his ribs and back in round 2. Round 3 ACL and ankle. Apparently it was 22-30, gusting 40-60kn. Riders didn't know if they were going to get lifted or dropped and just hoped the gust lasted long enough to land.

Wishing him a speedy recovery.

Re: Clement Huot leaving F One / joins Harlem

That's interesting. I'm not seeing the yank from the new spinning style of kites at all. It appears that they simply spin off the wingtip but don't generate the power we are used to seeing. I suppose the benefit is in the initial pop off the water from the super fast turning speed, however this typ...

Re: Duotone defalte valve

Often happens that on Duotone Evo D/Lab the bridle is stuck on the deflate valve during launch. Usually I have to halt the launch of the kite and "untagle" it before trying to relaunch the kite. This time my caddy already released the kite and the bridle opened the valve somehow and this part that ...

Re: Airton Cozzolino leaving Duotone

Don’t mean it’s dead. But I have hard to think it’s a big market for have a load off sponsorship for that? I mean the money for a tea rider need to come in from something and if you don’t sell kites to over the coast it’s gone be a strange strategy. Pretty sure a all round kite is bigger market. Ye...

Re: Carved Imperator 7 vs 2023 Duotone Jamie SLS

Which makes me think I will want to get the Jamie over the Impe. I'm not strictly trying to send big airs and like to play in the surf and do freestyle as much or more than just straight sends. Did you get the 2023 Jamie SLS? Is it a good free ride board? Playful, can skate around on it, etc.? I ha...

Re: Airton Cozzolino leaving Duotone

Isn’t big air pretty small thing? Compare what’s sold must off kites? Right now I suspect big air kites are probably a reasonable proportion of the market. Wave riding is likely a standard size for years with it neither growing nor dropping in market share. Freestyle has mostly died, with only a ha...

Re: Airton Cozzolino leaving Duotone

You are all super biased on GONG. This is a family business designing with their own ideas, own minds, not copying the others, everybody including the owner are 100% dedicated and all ride hard themselves. They try to keep prices reasonable, with real specs/materials by name,Teiijn T9669 triple rip...

Re: Airton Cozzolino leaving Duotone

Actually I have no idea's if that is true, probably it is relatively affordable to have a pro in your company for R&D feedback testing and marketing. (Which you need people anyways) Kitesurf is not a sport compared to football, formula 1, tennis etc etc. What can a pro-kiter do, who loves to kite, ...
