Re: WOO and KOTA

Probably it is an optical system, couple of cameras and software with good calibration can estimate distances and heights very precisely.

Re: Flydoor 6 v Flydoor 4 and 5

The new one has 4 fins closer to the heel edge, while the old ones had them spaced evenly on the corners of the board, I think this also contributes to the upwind ability. If you are happy with the 4/5 maybe you just need to refresh them a bit - new straps and handle will be much cheaper and keep yo...

Re: Kite size for Majorca - June

Bring the 17 and 10, 14-17 will have more or less the same wind range, if you have a big board(door) the 14 will be perfect for most days. The 10 for the off chance that there is a bit stronger wind (doesn't happen very often however it is possible). In general expect most days to have 8-12 knots, a...

Re: Flydoor 6 v Flydoor 4 and 5

It is heavier, but easier to carry as you don't have the middle fin trying to stab you in the ribs, it is pretty comfortable to ride that's all I can say at this point. I was learning on the 4th model(both the XL and L) and later bought myself the 6th, definitely it was a positive change but it is h...

How to stack boards for transport

Any ideas how to stack one directional and two twintips without damaging them? I don't wanna remove the fins.

I was thinking on having some soft towels between the boards, but are there any better solutions?

The boards will be inside a roof box, tied with straps so they don't move around.

Re: Airush Lithium Progression 12m?

Also progression has a SPS model that is single pump, highly recommended if you don't want to pump the struts one by one.

Deal of the year

Yesterday I was checking the available gear in a local second hand shop and to my surprise I got a Carved Imperator 6 137 with the Ultra straps for the total price of 399 euros! Sometimes it is worth it to check these places! Now i need to test it and see if it will replace my 2 weeks old Naish Mona...

Re: Bar recommendations

I am using a north click bar on my soul, and a slingshot sentinel bar on the speed5 The slingshot is a better match for foil kites, the middle line is not pu coated so it is easier to grab and pull during relaunch, it also has the handles. I was asking about the new flysurfer bar, however i don't th...

Re: North V-Adjuster

The instructions that i posted in the second post are for all kites, so depending on your line length, and if you use a 4 or 5 line setup you can adjust it properly.
