Re: ozone amp / duotone dice / fone bandit

If you consider Duotone because you like their bar so much it might be worth read about their line quality https://www.wetestkites.com/2018/12/22/duotone-lines/ it was back in 2018 but not sure how much changed from them. This article put me off even trying north/duotone kites some time ago, another...

Flysurfer Rush vs Shinn Ronson

Hey, I'm looking for a comparison of these two boards, I'm looking for a freeride/freestyle board to use locally (for travel I have NHP split). I'm looking board for big boost and some hooked tricks, recently started backrolls and want to move to more advanced tricks. Which board would eat chop bett...

Re: Caribbean alternative to Cabarete for early February

Cabarete more wind than Cayo Guillermo but also more likely to rain as wind typically goes over Cabarete first?

Re: The craziness is underway in Cape Town

This wind sounds about right for a 7/8m kite of a ~80kg rider. How much do you weight? Maybe your board in too big?

Re: Kevin Langeree leaving Naish...

I think that you will find is most manufactures will just start making 3 kites a 3 strut crossover wave/freeride booster, a 5 strut freestyle/wakestyle and a single strut if enough into foiling. Not on Airush watch!!! They make three version same same lithium kite, not to mention the variety of bar...

Re: Cuba Kitesurfing - Cayo Guillermo Travel Guide

Hey, I'm planning to visit Cuba in around February this year and was wondering which gear to take. At the moment I have 7m boots3, 10/14m switchblades, 15m Soul and NHP split TT, not doing any foiling yet. I'm not very proficient with starting my soul and I have like 6-8 starts successful behind my ...

Re: Mauritius August _Belle Mare

Just came back from Le Morne, I was there at the end of September and ridden TT. Never been in Brazil so can't compare but first thing first, in high tide in lagoon where beginners learn it can be choppy but wouldn't call it killer chop. All depends on the tide. With low tide water gets very flat. W...

Re: 2020 gear already on sale?

Kudos to Ozone and other brands that put out models (e.g. Edge V10) and only release the next model once there has been a tangible improvement - not some annual release schedule. That's a peeve I have with the industry - then there are brands like Airush that switched to model numbering but still b...
