Re: Solution to WOO pin oxidation?

I soldered some tin on pins using soldering iron. Woo should have hermetic case that charges wirelessly like plenty devices these days. They wouldn’t even have to include any charger as many people already have them Thanks for this tip. Do you do the soldering right away or after it oxidized a litt...

Re: kitesurfing = knee injuries

Mowing lawn and some jumps <10m surely have smaller risk than megalooping in booths. Not to get any injury means not to doing any sport and probably dying from heart decease. I notice that often riders keep their front leg straight and it should always be ever so slight bent to keep muscles damping ...

Re: Kitesurfing Near Trieste

Hi! Check: Marina Julia: enourmous shallow flat area, or deep water. Works only with bora. Can be very gusty the first day the bora blows. Grado Pineta: enourmous shallow flat area, you can also ride out to the sand bank for small breakers. Works on many wind directions (except directions from N). ...

Re: Lieuwe shotgun beginner

I haven't tried shotgun but 133 Imo is pretty small. Big boards give softer landings, better upwind but slightly more work to hold an edge in powered conditions. Big boards give harder landing than smaller boards as smaller board during landing would submerge more giving softer better damping effec...

Re: Lieuwe shotgun beginner

Don't overthink neither board or kites, since you have Evo and switchblade get any board just in the right size, I would takie one size bigger if I was a beginner. Easier to get going more forgiving in transitions turns and you have ride it at lower wind.

Re: New lines - Dyneema Sk99

I'm on team thinner lines make less drag making kite more responsive, new Duotone lines on bar and kite are very thin comparing to let say Core. I don't see how line thickness would affect stretchability. DT has SK99 on their bars isn't?

Re: Orbit problem

Funny enough I was testing Reach ‘21 and during jumps felt kite vibrating through rear lines. This kite was used as it was tested at the end of season. I was told by someone that kite wasn’t inflated enough but I do always use gauge to test pressure. Never experienced anything like this on any other...
