Re: Core XR quiver 8m-10m vs 8m-11m

I used to have XR6 8/11 and Soul 15m (I'm same weight) but I would ride Soul only up to 18kts and take XR 11 from 18-24kts then switch to XR6 8m. If you find riding Soul in 18-22kts range enjoyable (I didn't) that normally you could ride 11m XR then downsizing to 10m will give you nicer overlap betw...

Re: Duotone quality - Evo SLS 2022

There is possibility that one of the front line loops slipped from knot, its a known issue with DT kites that knots at kite or bar are too small and it and kite had rider weight on steering lines and it caused that damage

Re: Low end advise Duotone Juice 13 vs 15m

I ride new Evo 2022 13m in 15-20kts at mine 90kg, you should have no problem to ride 13m kite for 14-18kts unless you want to be really overpowered I would go for smaller 13m size as it's more fun to ride and loop

Re: Bye Soul, hi UFO or Alpha maybe?

number of people that jump on soul/foil kites boat from all this hype 3-4 years ago now realising that awesome foil kite performance comes with a price that is too difficult to pay... The old saying is if something works and it is simple its better to keep it that way instead going such a lengths ov...

Re: Looping 9m Core XR dangerous?

Thats unfortunate and very discouraging to hear, its what i feared and heard other people say, i was hoping some people here might have mastered looping a 9m XR somehow. i dont have any money for a new kite and im really happy with the xr at the moment. Don’t take all what I say literally as I’m a ...

Re: Looping 9m Core XR dangerous?

I weight about the same and had XR 8 and 11, tried to learn loops on XR but I got discouraged because of their turning speed. 11m was awful I was shitting myself even while downlooping it on water during turn where 8m was much better but I didn’t managed to even master heliloops on that size, simply...

Re: Solution to WOO pin oxidation?

I soldered some tin on pins using soldering iron. Woo should have hermetic case that charges wirelessly like plenty devices these days. They wouldn’t even have to include any charger as many people already have them Thanks for this tip. Do you do the soldering right away or after it oxidized a litt...
