I used to have XR6 8/11 and Soul 15m (I'm same weight) but I would ride Soul only up to 18kts and take XR 11 from 18-24kts then switch to XR6 8m. There is possibility that one of the front line loops slipped from knot, its a known issue with DT kites that knots at kite or bar are too small and it and kite had rider weight on steering lines and it caused that damage

I ride new Evo 2022 13m in 15-20kts at mine 90kg, you should have no problem to ride 13m kite for 14-18kts unless you want to be really overpowered I would go for smaller 13m size as it's more fun to ride and loop
