Thanks a lot Matteo!
Great to hear from somebody who has tried both!

From this video it does not look too bad but what you write make sense

Re: The Most Important Skill To Develop For the Entry & Future Kite Foiler

But the actual "onewheel" is waaaaayyyy better. Hi Matteo can you please tell us a bit more about that? Tried both? How do they compare? I wanna buy one but the onewheel here costs 3 times more and practically does not have any service or support. The trotter on the other hand is sold with 2 years ...

Re: Where to start?

Yes, as a first project I want to go as KISS as possible. Both materials and tools. (e.g. I'd rather wait for epoxy curing) What I think of doing is: 1) Get 2 or 3 of sheets of wood sized 135x45cm (2 or 3? How many mm? 3mm? What kind of wood? Where do I find it?) 2) Glue the sheets together, while ...

Re: Where to start?

Thanks, building a whole foil is an overkill for me. My idea is to focus on the board only. I did not find a board tutorial in their videos. I've seen many other videos for boards but I have a gap on how to put the inserts where the foil is mounted? Shall I use this method with epoxy? Will it hold o...

Where to start?

I would like to start a build project for the winter. (and will not stop there!) There is a ventilated space I can use, assume no tools but I'm ok to buy as I progress in my skills. I've read many many hours here and elsewhere but I'm still lost! There are so many techniques materials and tools that...

Re: One kite for old school AND foiling

Thanks for all the replies! I will have a look at Reo and the flite. Foil kites could serve both light wind and boosting but unfortunately it’s not possible to launch them in 3 out of 4 places I kite. Moreover as I’m still learning a lot with the foilboard, I prefer something that floats… It will ha...

One kite for old school AND foiling

I need your help in choosing my next kite. For various reasons, I’d like to have only one kite.* If the wind is strong (50%) I go with the TT and mainly jump, do some rotations etc (nothing fancy but still slowly improving) For light winds (50%) I ride a zeeko green (all around freeride wing). I can...

Re: Learning with Zeeko Carver vs Green

Thank you very much all! Now it's really easy decision to start with the green and stick to it! I've read all the straps vs strapless discussion and remembering the few times I tried strapless surfboard I'm very willing to take a calculated injury risk in order to ease my waterstarting. Anyway will ...
